Absolutely no one is assuming that. It's part of why it was so cheap to land a guy who has averaged over 26 ppg on incredible efficiency the last three years.

 

Don't like this trade and think the Rockets gave up too much. I hope KD can remain healthy and hungry. I am a Rockets fan so will support KD as a Rocket.

On a side note, Harden, Westbrook and KD being a Rocket in their career is funny, hell even Jeff Green and Adams have been or are a Rocket. Wheres Ibaka, Collison and Perkins at?

friend of mine is close to Hardens entourage / business partners in Houston. Asked him what the thought of the trade and he’s like not surprised. KD reached out to Harden a few weeks back on living areas in Houston and who to connect with on investments within the city etc. I guess it seems like he’s had his mind set to be here.

If he genuinely takes a pay cut that isn't superficial or adds flexibility in the terms or length of the extension I will be much happier about the trade as well. It would be best case scenario IMO. We'll see

 

it would be great to add guard depth. I’m only including Holiday if a better guard is coming back. Aaron has played well for us.

Nobody hates him for not being to be able to win it all. We hate him because of how he left and burned the house down on his way out.

 

Really love this trade a day after. Not that I was hurt losing Green picks and Brooks, but now the hype has settled in and the potential of Durant with the young guns. If Jabari Tari Reed and Cam can’t elevate game with him, they have issues. We finally have someone who will command the ball with 3 min left in the game, everyone is open now.

Nah. I’ve known the guy for years when Harden was here, always knew what was going on. Harden has issues with ppl and they reconnect.

Harden and Durant are 100% still friends, some guy on twitter broke the trade like an hour before shams by saying Durant was going to stay at James' house while he figured everything out.
