Help me understand your logic. The Rockets were going to magically not pay Jalen and Dillon in your reality.

 

no that's idiotic. the rockets would give up 4 of their 7 young players and 4 1st round picks and 5 2nd round picks for two guys in their 30's. idiotic.

Most of us don’t like Jalen. 10th pick in a weak draft is meh and brooks will be the guy we regret to lose the most but none of these guys are going to put up 26-6-4 on almost 50/40/90 like KD. Brooks also had a plus rating in 3 of those playoff games and was god awful in games 6 and 7

Durant will likely sign 2 yrs 124 mil. That extra 2 mil is if he signs in JAN.

Green and Brooks combined in 26-27 will be around 56 mil. That’s 2 players for 6 mil or so less than the contract for 1 aging player.

I thought his value would go down from the deadline because he was a rental but after the bs lottery I was worried they would just gift wrap him for SA. Always thought the Heat were bs.
