If im PHX i make Jalen Green the 6th man like i wanted him to be in Houston, but its even better suited in PHX with Book at the 1, Beal at the 2 and Brooks at the 3.

I always loved KD so i'm happy he's finally a Rocket. Doesn't matter if it's short term b/c of age decline or injuries. We still have Alpy and any one of Amen, Bari, Tari, Cam, Reed could blow up and become stars themselves with obviously Amen having the highest odds. Can't wait to see if KD helps Baris game take off too. Perfect role player for him to become what we drafted him to become.

I personally hate load management, but can see the benefit of it with a 37 year old KD thats still playing 37mpg. On the bright side, he's played 70+ and 60+ past two seasons at 37mpg. Maybe try and find a sweet spot of 70 games at 32mpg?

Anyone else think it's not far fetched at all that KD could be in contention for oldest MVP ever on this team if Ime doesn't load manage him? I can easily see 30 on 50/40/90 splits and if we're a top 3 seed again? Voters would eat it up. With both Green and Brooks attempts gone, i could see KD up his usual 18 attempts a game to 20 a game and last time he took 20 shots a game he avg 29.9 in his 2nd year in Brooklyn. His FTA's have steadily been decreasing, but there's no reason why KD can't up his 3pt attempts from his usual 5 or 6 to 10 as he ages. More i think of it, instead of seeing 20 fga a game, i want to see him aim for 10 3s a game.

Ime definitely has his shortcomings offensively, but when people say that the offensive struggles were mostly on his system I genuinely just don't think those people watch a lot of NBA games. There's not a lot of teams out here playing like the prime Warriors and this year's Pacers team. Most NBA offense now is about giving your best player the ball where they want it and running a **** ton of pnr and iso. There's not many offenses that are out here running a bunch Princeton and motion...It's more personnel based...And regardless of scheme good offensive players are going to produce good offense.

The Nuggets 5 out offense is not nearly as effective if you replace Jokic with Brook Lopez and the Warriors motion isn't winning **** if you replace Steph and Klay with Patty Mills and Tyler Herro.

OKC’s pressure will have a short, fat, slow PG like FVV in a chokehold…he’ll struggle just to get the ball past halfcourt

we still lack shooting, so they can swarm KD and force him into turnovers

we need a FVV upgrade and some shooting if we truly want to compete with them

DFG% = Defensive FG% (generally not considered an "accurate" stat because it probably depends on tracking data assigning a defender to the shot attempt.)
DFGA = Defensive FGs Attempted (basically how many FG's were defended)

They're pointing out which defenders had the best defensive field goal percentage while having a minimum of 550 FG's defended, but I believe this is one of those stats that rely on the NBA's tracking technology so you may end up with some oddball results.

We all know who/what we need to tip the scales. ****...I already got enough Jerseys to wear a different one every day of the first 2 weeks of the return if I bought a different Dunkstronaut to replace the Jalen one...It's almost fated lol.

OKC won title, Pacers got respect and a Game 7, Rockets got KD, a team will get Ace Bailey, one Edgecombe.

    I kid.

I don’t think anyone thinks this team is a finished product yet. It’s a year or two away from peak form, but we just upgraded it so much that you are contemplating our status as true contenders. That’s a huge win. Today was a huge win for our squad.

If we had Durant instead of Jalen we probably sweep the warriors. Why would it be Tari and Jabari. Jabari shooting opens up the floor for us. We needed to create more minutes.

This is true but also steph didn't win until Kerr installed the offense just like Jordan didn't win until the triangle, same with kobe. Not saying they would have never won but players also need to be in the right system. Pop doesn't win if he had chris mimms instead of Duncan but if I coached Duncan, he probably doesn't win as much either. It all goes hand in hand

Of course coaching matters. Would never say otherwise. I'm strictly talking offensive productivity. Kerr definitely got them over the hump, but it's not like Steph wasn't Ish Smith before Kerr got there..

What I'm saying is that what Ime brings in totality as a HC, IMO, is enough to win at the highest level despite whatever flaws he may have and no matter what system is run it's not turning Jalen Green into a great offensive weapon.

And regarding the Warrior and Steph, Kerr's presence really did more for other player around him than it did for Steph. His numbers didn't really see a monumental leap when Kerr arrived.
