Also gave up 2 of the 3 players in the rotation I was least attached to between Jalen, Brooks, and FVV.

And the Rockets didn't include Cam or any of Phoenix's first round picks.

 

If the Rockets now need a guard they should bring Sergio Llull home...get er done Morey...

 

The Rockets offensive short comings last year were because they were not a very talented offensive team.

Their top offensive go to guy was Jalen Green. That’s all that has to be said really.

Another thing for KD and the young Rockets. If KD has the motivation to win a championship with us it cleans up a lot critiques about his legacy. He will have won outside of Golden State, any negative rep will have a positive bump or repair like how Kyrie got going to the finals with Dallas.

For the youth, they can watch and learn how a true alpha scorer prepares, practices, trains and his mentality. If I were Jabari, Cam, Reed, Tari etc. I would be asking questions, learning and watching how he works on his offensive game, shooting, playmaking, free throws and daily regimen.

 

I hope he pans out and become a solid point whether starting or bench. It’s too early to tell still but his play last year wasn’t good. That 3rd starting game just wasn’t good.

Easy, its not that bad. Brooks was a turnstile in the postseason and his team defense is overhyped. Kevin Durant is infinitely longer than him and can contest. We will be just fine.

 

We moved on. Got the best available scorer and honestly didn't pay too much.

....After that playoff performance, I would have traded him for a bag of sunflower seeds & a Matt Maloney rookie card........Glad we got something great without giving up everything!

 

He single handedly lost the playoffs. Nobody will argue with that. The point is that he's 23 and should improve. If you look at Butler's first playoff year, it was not pretty. Y'all expected too much of Green. I do think that Green will likely have a grown kid mentality his whole career, and that's what the FO and Ime do not want. You want a team made up of men. Curry is a bit of a man child, but he has a miracle of a shot and his work ethic can't be compared to. Other than Curry, I can't think of any other champion caliber player that is a man child in the NBA.

He’s not shitty, he’s just not a superstar caliber player, which is what Phoenix thought they could get for Durant when they started shopping him. They quickly learned what Durant’s trade value was: a good young player with the potential to make a few All-Star squads.

 

But will pay 2 yr 122 mil after this year.
