Why does it feel like the Pacers are just NOW experiencing what it's like to play without Haliburton?

Feels like they came out slightly shook. In the first half, they had no idea about Haliburton's injury severity - I feel like they were told about his Achilles and how he isn't come back, during halftime, and now it's settling in that he isn't coming back.

 

The margin for error is SO small

I think they knew, I just think now OKC is reacting to it and realizing they were losing to a lesser team now.

Apparently they (Pacers) had a passionate half time speech or something. They know what's up, they just need someone to be a star tonight and so far they are only in this on grit and will and team basketball...

But like I said, they have to take this like it's an NCAA Tourney game and they are wearing the slipper.

 

even with the addition of KD, we really gotta upgrade FVV if we truly want to compete with OKC…we still need more shooting as well

their pressure and athleticism will have Fred struggling to bring the ball up past halfcourt

 

This is exactly what I expected. OKC's defense has gone Code Red and the Pacers just can't deal with it.

Hopefully they have another run soon or this could be over quickly.

Indiana might have already won this series if they knew how to call a timeout instead of panicking and throwing it away when they get trapped.

Yeah I think he should have had Pascal in with TJ going off like this, Bradley giving you little and I don't know why Bryant is in right now.

 

I can't stand OKC, no matter how much the players on it change. Reminds me of those dirty mavs teams that played against Yao/Tmac.

TJ has a release really similar to Ray Allen

 

Too many turnovers for Indiana. Bradley has been terrible. Bryant should have seen the court sooner. TJ trying to will the team back on his own.

 

It is hilarious to me that if the Pacers do the unthinkable and win that TJ McConnell would probably be the finals MVP lol.
