I'd rather have one thread per player than 5, 6 threads talking about the same guy. @vince thinks the tongue-in-cheek "franchise player" thread titles are annoying. Well, how about just a boring "{Official} Player X thread"?
There used to be threads that were, “all encompassing regarding player X.” I liked those style of threads, it kept the board looking clean and engaging. Those usually would have a plethora of information regarding said player. I suggest making a lone thread for franchise player talk, I’m sure that thread would be cohesive and fun to read; especially when pondering who will take the mantel as the face of the franchise. The dialogue would be intense and heated. But the cool thing is I checked earlier today and there were only 4 franchise player x threads.
I like the idea of a "Who is the Rockets franchise player?" thread and let all the player-only-fans slug it out in there.
It was far more accurate, he was never the franchise player, but he certainly was the numero uno traded. Only fair that thread got all the glory.
