Suns don't count because they absolutely gutted their team for him, it was never going to work. Meanwhile the Nets were a shoe size away from winning it all, even without Kyrie. We are more like one than the other.

I have mixed feelings about it, but at the same time not mad at it. If KD can continue to deliver the stats he did last year and stay healthy, it's a home run. Not worried about losing Brooks's toughness (not sure why anyone is, defense dropped off significantly after 1st month of the season) and not sad about losing the 10th pick. I did want to continue the Jalen Green experiment but did recognize that he could end up like Jamal Crawford which definitely would not have worked out for the franchise.

Looking forward to the start of next season. I'm glad I bought me some seats next year before prices get jacked up.

Sounds like he really really wanted out of PHX, sounds like there was some beef with him and the other players there, the coach, the entire organization...

And he has a lot of familiarity with guys like Adams and Uncle Jeff (if he stays here) and Ime and even Jabari so makes sense. We really just need one more Durant year out of this guy, two would be nice.

A younger star would have cost the Rockets a lot more of their first-round picks and young talent. They got Durant for two-to-three first-round picks worth of value and five second-round picks. They kept Jabari Smith Jr., Tari Eason, Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson, Reed Sheppard and Cam Whitmore.

Plus, they still have plenty of first-round picks.

 

How can you not see that the suns who have 4 sg on the roster didn't even want Jalen green. It's just what they had to go with. They have nothing but shooting guards. I was wrong? Phoenix had no offers.. literally no one was trading for KD because he said he'd only play for 3 teams..
