You go on twitter and people are acting like Jalen is an mvp candidate. You can tell who watches the rockets and who doesn’t. I really… really… wanted Jalen to succeed, but there were a lot of things I didn’t like about him.

Brooks had to go for salary matching purposes.

Phoenix could end up with 3 starters out of this and corner the market in 2nd round draft picks. It's not all bad for them!

    That's crazy!!

You mean they aren't happy they got Jalen Green? Why could they possibly be upset about trading for him?

JOF where you at? Go and spread the word to your newfound community. Hopefully this time you go in with the intent of not making everyone hate you.

So many short term folks. We could have gotten rid of green eventually down the line for an actual younger player. Now we are saddled with KD and pray that he doesn't go down with any injury.

Kinda triggering that the same folks not wanting harden back wants fking kd of all folks. We needed playmaking more than anything.

Gonna b Overpaying for fvv and kd old a$$. All it takes is one injury and we are screwed.

As long as KD's healthy for the playoffs then Stone made a great trade.

I am sorry; did you say Jalen will be an all star next season because he’s going to voted in by fans?

This is the best you're going to get from Jalen Green.

Even if Kevin doesn't work out, it's only 2 years max. We still have Amen, Sengun, Jabari,, and possibly Reed Sheppard for the future.

This is a low risk, high reward move that has no negatives to the future of this franchise.

I understand the minutes logjam and the general wisdom of trading good players for a great one. We did it before with McGrady and Harden. I just wish in this case the guy we're getting weren't so old. I wish a younger star had been available. It just didn't work out that way.

Difference is KD has the best mid range gamein the NBA IMHO. A killer mid range game is the answer for beating a 1-3-1 zone. I also expect Amen to improve his mid range game quite a bit and even his 3 point shot somewhat.

Unless KD wants to take a team friendly discount to help us win, I honestly only want to extend him for one year for now and see how things go this season. Little scared to have him locked in at $60+ million in his age 39 season.

    But great trade

I've gone record saying I prefer to keep the young guys, however you also can't deny this is a ridiculously low trade for KD.

KD will go down as probably one of the best if not the best iso scorer in NBA history. Although already 37, really the only thing wrong with him is his health as the dude is still a top 5 player in the NBA. To get him for Dillon Brooks, Jalen Green and the top 10 lotto pick is honestly a joke, if I were PHX I woulda just kept Durant.

PHX was garbage without KD last year, they were 3-17. While DB is good and Jalen is prob gonna break out, both of them arent as good as Durant. Theres a high chance Rockets will again be picking in the lotto next year, hopefully while winning a ring.

I'm still not fully on board with shortening the timeline but hey, you cant deny this is a good gamble to make. I rather KD than Booker.

Will we be finalizing it after the draft, due to the Stepien Rule?
