In 1953 the Republican president helped orchestrate a coup that set forward the events that happened over the course of decades that led us to where we are today… with a Republican president again meddling in the Middle East and using Iran for his political gain.

Well, Trump didn't end the war in Ukraine, didn't end the war in Gaza, didn't surprise anyone by his lie about not knowing anything about Project 2025, hasn't provided Americans his new affordable healthcare plan, and certainly didn't follow his promise of not involving us in any new wars. Truthfully.... Israel really weakened Iran. It first weakened its proxies which Iran uses to project power in the region. It weakened and tested its air defenses prior to the recent attack. And then finally with the recent major escalation, it struck a major blow to Iran's military structure, Iran's air defenses, and Iran's ability to launch its missiles.

Iran is by no means finished, but it knows a major move (like attacking saudi oil infrastructure and closing the strait of hormuz) will likely mean the US and the region getting more involved.

Yet you guys always forget that in 1953 a group of UK and CIA spooks helped overthrow a democratically elected government (who was in the process of nationalizing the British-owned oil industry) and install the Shah, who then went on to brutalize his people (ever hear of the Jaleh Square Massacre?) setting the stage for the overthrow in 1979. Do you ever consider the Soviet influence on Iran and understand that Iran long had claims on Azerbaijan and maybe nationalism had as much to do with the overthrow of the Shah as religion? Do you really think a US president is a near-deity who can control and direct the actions of other nations from afar? It's why serious people don't take you seriously.
