So how many of you are placing bets on the Rockets to win a title next year? Probably not many. But at least KD will be the new Sengun scapegoat. So now they HAVE to:
Get a 2 seed or better
    Have Sengun win MVP
    Win a title
Otherwise they couldve kept the roster and still not have won a title. No excuse Sengun guys.

Damn, can't believe it finally happened!

Props for Stone for holding his ground. I'm guessing the 5 2nd round picks made PHX feel better about the return--hilarious!

Adding KD is a calculated risk for his age and injury history, but if we manage his time correctly and he stays healthy we've added an elite/all-time great scorer to our starting 5. Hard to not get excited about just that, add-on KD is just a pure-hooper and lives the gym rat life and his sheer influence on this young team could have positive repercussions long after his playing days are over. His relationships with Coaches and Adams should help him make an easy transition.

I had so much hope for Jalen's crazy athleticism and potential, but I really think choosing the G-League over college and than the Silas years impacted his growth. However, culturally he's just not a good fit with the hard-nosed team Ime is building. Hopefully, he's able to carve out a decent career, but his value has declined and getting KD with Green as the centerpiece has to be considered a win.

Like others mentioned, I wasn't a fan of the DB signing, but he won me over in his two years here. That said, we have plenty of youth that are ready to fill his minutes and this seems like we're selling high on him.

#10 Pick is what I hate losing the most, just because I love the draft and believe adding a prospect is never a bad thing. Kudos to Stone for keeping all of the other 1sts.

Losing 10 hurts but losing Brooks makes up for that. No future picks is low key miraculous. Hopefully since we kept Cam, he works to rebuild his relationship with Ime and finds a real spot on the rotation.

Sunk cost fallacy. Same reason people wanted Jalen here (myself included)

Rockets traded the house for Russell Westbrook (bad move) and swapped him for John Wall.

The underrated thing about this trade is how much KD being here will help Jabari develop. He already patterns his game on (and works out with) KD, and now, being able to see him every day in practice, seeing how he trains and works on a daily basis...I think it'll be a huge blessing.

I have never understood the fascination with second round picks as nba draft capital. I feel I get a better deal at Safeway when I buy hamburger for 50% off because the date is going bad.

There is nothing Jalen does that Durant doesn’t do better, even at 37… plus he offers a hell of a lot more. Brooks’s defensive skillset is redundant with Tari, Jabari, and the emergence of Amen. Who cares about the picks.

    An immaculate trade.

Yeah a lot of my buddies are Suns fans and they are not happy at all. This was a disaster for them.

Its going to be fun. Sure KD is slightly worn, but he's still one of the best and an all time great. Would rather have KD than no KD.

As they should. Only value they got was the 10th pick.

They were going to hate anything because they were valuing based on the silly inflated demands the Suns started with. That's going to be how almost all were calculating his value.

In comparison to how the Suns were trying to set the market early on, this is a pretty lame return.

Other players might actually want to come to Houston now to play with Durant. No one was coming here to play with Jalen.

I love the fact that they kept Cam out of the deal. To me, the one thing Cam has shown is the ability to develop as a scorer. To me, if he were given opportunities like Green had in his first two years, he would be a 20 PPG scorer as well. Hopefully, he gets out of the doghouse and develops into a reliable and efficient 6th man scorer for us.
