Good trade. I wasn’t a big fan of Jalen’s next contract and we keep everyone else on the core. Cam and Reed, time to step up.

Rockets admitting they screwed up with Jalen green and rather get a guy who can’t stay healthy and is 37

this is the type of framework I was hoping for

get out of Jalen’s contract and get a MASSIVE upgrade on offense

Dillon Brooks is redundant with Amen and Tari here

the 10th pick wasn’t gonna be a contributor any time soon, and we already have young guys struggling to get in the rotation with Reed and Cam

don’t give 2 fcks about 2nd round picks

we still have plenty of assets left to continue to build the team

Stone finally made a move instead of sitting on his hands

    We got rid of Green

    That's a win

Not sure how much if any Durant helps but still well positioned if he doesn't. Which is likely imo.

    LFG!

I think this puts Bari back in starting lineup.
    Fred/Amen/KD/Bari/Alp
With Reed, Cam, Tari and Adams being the main bench

What lol? They pulled this off without giving up any of the young core. Reed, Smith, Eason. It’s pretty impressive. The Rockets had to many players as it was with not enough minutes to play them.

I’m really excited for Jabari to learn from KD up close.
Call me crazy but there is something there. Not saying he’s a future all star but he’s capable of more.

Good trade for us. Also appreciating that we have a player of KD’s caliber representing our franchise even if it’s at the end of his career.

So who's the 5th starter now, with Sengun - KD - Amen - FVV?

    Jabari and go big?
    Tari for the hustle?
    Cam for Jalen's spot?

Disagree… got rid of Jalen’s awful contract. I liked brooks but Durant is much better. 10th pick who cares.. 5 second rounders lol… not a bad haul to trade considering we got to keep all the rest of our young guys and all them 1st round picks.

    Kept Amen
    Kept Sengun
    Kept Jabari
    Kept Tari
    Kept Reed
    Kept Cam
    Kept 2027 BRK swap
    Kept 2027 PHX 1st
Kept 2029 1st (two most favorable from own/PHX/DAL)

JALEN WAS A DISTRESSED (IF NOT NEGATIVE) ASSET
BROOKS WAS NOT PART OF THE CORE

GOOD BYE JALEN GREEN ONLY FANBOYS. Enjoy your stay on the miserable Suns.

I'm gonna miss ol' Dillon the Villain tho but he often makes the game about himself too much and gets carried away.

Jalen’s contract will expire when KD’s extension does. If he’s become a dependable player, we might be able to get him back.

Jabari. I think Rockets will burn that bridge if they bench him again

I don't like it, but at least they only gave up one member of the young core.

Still, I think Green is gonna figure it out, to our detriment.
