    Impeachment is meaningless for our government. We live in a pseudo-republic run by a literal dictator. His dictates just happen to be on his personal social media platform.

    A couple of Carrier Groups and a thousand sorties out of Incirlik and Diego Garcia might not let them keep it for very long.

    This is horrible. The worst thing that could happen is now apparently beginning to happen.

    At this point, if might makes right and the rules based order is dead, China should take Taiwan and Russia should use nukes in Ukraine. Because who is to stop them.

    One can hope but Trump telegraphed his intentions pretty well after he gave Israel the green light to attack so who knows?

    The most ironic thing would be the nuclear program itself was a ruse to be a deterrent against the Israelis. So far no nuclear leaks detected despite bombardment by our billion dollar B2s.

    It's a lot easier to interpret the "major accomplishments" of Trump's two terms as being in-step with neocons' interests. Massive, debt-ballooning tax cuts and preemptive Middle Eastern war sure does sound like Bush 2.0
