Jalen was so bad I actually thought Cam had a shot at cracking the starting rotation for a minute there.
It’s just what some fans do. They latch on to young players for zero reason other than false hope and hold onto that hope until the player leaves the team or gets old. Happens in every sport.
Yes, fans root for the players on their teams to do well. It does happen in all sports. It's the definition of being a fan.
NGL, the thread title is so aggressive. We're all passionate about the Rockets, and is high or low on a player. Life is too short to be this mad. Whitmore didn't get too much playing time last year, not enough to get such a strong disdain IMHO. If he keeps working hard and the coaches see something in him then let him prove it on the court. And if all of this is just sarcasm, keep on truckin' then.
If Jeremy Pena can fix his batting stance, hand placement above shoulder generates better swing path. Jeremy Pena is swinging pulling his hands in and hitting pitches more. These changes made a huge difference. Who knew Jeremy would be possible to be a .266 hitter last season to be a .328 hitter this season and most likely a All Star. I hope Rockets Shooting Coaches can fix most of the Rockets players shooting form. Amen Thompson, Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun, Tari Eason all need to fix their shooting form. Get their FG% up and 3 point FG% significantly.
Cam knows how to play team ball, he does it well with extended minutes, it is when his minutes are short, he presses too much. He is 20.....he literally reminds me of Kobe at the same age. DD
Cam doesn't seem to have a good feel for the game which can't be fixed. I think he could be an impactful sixth man but doubt he'd ever be an all-star
KPJ was Harden, Cam is now Kobe. I forgot who was Desantis? I will hand it to you, you always keep us guessing.
