    I dont know who their color guy is but he seems to be a former player and knows whats going on. I didnt expect anything from them but his high praise for Brown is refreshing. So many times when you listen to away calls, theyre so damn homeriffic.

    I really didnt expect them to show last years duel(referencing Neto saying "that twice") cause that was a whole lot of nothing too.

    All Neto was doing was trying to get Brown rattled or even better- ejected

    Huh? Neto is a card-carrying redass and he and Brown have HBP history. There wasn't any strategery behind any of that. And what would Brown get ejected for...throwing the ball 6 inches inside?

    Former KC (he pitched 13 years for KC and 4 innings for the Angels) SP Mark Gubicza. He's quite good.

    Looked him up cause I laughed at the 4innings but there it was- a whole 4.2 innings. Then I laughed again. Then I saw his 88 season with a 7.8 war and 270 innings pitched- thats impress.

    He sounds a lot younger than 62 yrs old on the calls.

    Yep, that's a monster year.

    He and Saberhagen (look up Sabe's numbers in '89, his 2nd CYA year, 9.7 WAR) combined for 517 IP in '89
