Yes agreed, but unless I’m mistaken they seem to be using a European sized basketball which is a huge mistake if that’s correct. They need to be using an NBA official size. Someone needs to let them know lol.
I think the extra effort on defense is what affected his shot the most. His legs were more tired than he is used to. He will adjust to it.
Beat me to it, is Sijan a better Sullivan? Has to work on a quicker release and more of a rainbow arc.
First accuracy, then speed. If he gets good enough shooting the 3 that defenses would rather give up the drive that just plays into his best game, the Senhub. If he starts knocking them down consistently he can increase release speed later. No point in being fast and being at 30%. Getting the defender to overcommit to the 3 he will just drive past them.
I'm not the slightest bit concerned about the speed of his release, guys like Jokic and Lopez have glacially slow releases. It just needs to be good enough that defenders have to respect it. It would be a complete game changer and open up actual superstar possibilities.
Just 10/11? Got some work to do. Seriously though, way more than 3-pointers, I want to see Alpi stroke 10-15 foot jumpers like they layups. That would make him a 25+ ppg nightmare!
Does he really though? Teams are leaving him open and letting him shoot that shot. He's got all the time in the world. Once he starts hitting then he needs to quicker release.
Want to see him just launch it next season. No more little jab steps. Once he gets his percentages up he can start jab stepping again.
If only Ime knew how to spot up Boban in the corner, Indiana would be playing us now instead of OKC. Told you we needed an offensive coach.
It would answer all our prayers if Sengun could shoot 35% on a decent volume and not hesitate. It would vault him to perennial all-star.
