I caught up on the latest season of Dr. Stone. I didn't realize they were breaking it up into 3 parts like Attack on Titan... It's a fun series. I also started the remake of Legend of Galactic Heroes. While it's pretty for its updated animation, it skips a lot of the exposition for a faster pace. The exposition in the original adds a lot of depth that's missing in the remake. I thought they original lacked a lot of character stories to focus more on the plot and I wish they added that in the remake.
I finished Solo Leveling, and it was good…the main character became so overpowered tho I never really felt any suspense or real sense of danger with him the ant situation was a HxH ripoff still looking forward to S3 whenever that is…the art, animation, and fight choreography is top notch
I just finished a show called “Common Side Effects” and really enjoyed it plot was engaging, I liked many of the characters, and I’m a big fan of the art style that was used which was similar to Scavengers Reign which I also thought was pretty good

It can pull on heart strings with the stories but a really fascinating show about how two guys can travel back in time through photos and solve crimes and mysteries. Just finished season 1 and looking forward to season 2. Season 3 is coming out next year.
Started Shangri la frontier..... seems like a more light hearted and realistic take on the MMORPG and liking it so far.

Wouldn't say disappointing. Just radically different from the first. Which is totally fine if it's not your thing. I tried to get into it. Was looking for that vibe similar to Solo Leveling so I started with Sword Art Online, the OG. Then tried Shangri La Frontier, but from watching the dub, the main character is pretty obnoxious. I haven't gotten past 4 episodes.
