    You know this for sure?

There's still an investigation going on. You have inside info or are you just speculating?

A Conroe-based attorney representing Texans safety Jimmie Ward said he believes his client will be “vindicated” based on the facts about his recent arrest in Montgomery County after he was accused of choking and threatening to kill a woman.

Steve Jackson, who declined to provide details on what facts he was referring to, said the charges like those against Ward have become “commonplace” with high-profile athletes. “It is sad that professional athletes and public figures have to endure things like this.”

Jackson said he and his legal team will continue to investigate the allegations against Ward.

“Jimmie is a kind person who has a good reputation for being active in the community throughout his NFL career,” Jackson said in a statement to the Houston Chronicle. “ We just ask that the public reserve judgment so that we can show everyone that the Jimmie Ward that they all have come to know is the same wonderful person and did not do this.”

In a motion filed Tuesday, Jackson asked 221st state District Court Judge Lisa Michalk to modify his bond conditions, stating that a court-ordered GPS ankle monitor interferes with Ward's job.

“Defendant cannot participate in his necessary job duties and contractual obligations while wearing a GPS ankle monitor. Defendant will need to be able to travel outside of the State of Texas to participate in his necessary job duties and contractual obligations. The current bond conditions impair Defendant's essential ability to perform his trade or occupation and less restrictive means are available,” the motion states.

Michalk had not made a ruling on that request as of Wednesday. Ward's next hearing date is 9 a.m. July 16.

    He has no issues,

He just believes God'ell is gay.

He also believes God'ell is bad for the game of football

I agree with him on these things. Have you heard of other issues Gruden has and I didn't know opinions = issues, particularly in Gruden's case.

that is a lot to turn around from, but I am a testament that it can be done if the desire is there. Praying for the best for his life and then he can be good for the Texans.

As usual we will be left with competing narratives with everyone choosing to believe who and what they are biased toward believing. I can honestly say I DON'T KNOW and be comfortable with it.

God'ell had those emails, or had one of his minions release that confidential email and is against federal law. I think there's still a lawsuit Gruden filed against the NFL still out there.

Doesn't make Gruden's opinion less valid IMHO. Of course I'm biased and think God'ell is a despicable human being who's sold out the NFL.

That's the NFL, look at the 2 teams in the SB. Both of them had these types of guys on their teams. Most teams have at least one guy like this on their team.

    Buffalo- Von Miller
Ravens- just drafted Green and have others.
Then you've got the Texans - Mixon

That's just the playoffs and doesn't take into account teams like the Vikings/Dolphins/Cowboys etc....

I'm not saying there aren't other pieces of trash on every team. Good for him if he changed his life around but he obviously had a serious pattern of disturbing behavior

Gruden described black Demaurice Smith as "Dumbmaurice Smith has lips the size of Michelin tires". We know the implication of that..

In those emails to Bruce Allen the Washington GM, were nude pics of Washington's cheerleaders he shared with Gruden . How did they get those? Washington actually had the cheerleaders do a nude photoshoot on a Costa Rica trip for team sponsors. Then they had the cheerleaders be "companions" to hang out with the male sponsors at the nightclubs later.

When the story first broke in 2018, Allen acted unaware of it happening, playing the good cop like "We will FIRE THE PEOPLE that did this!". When he actually got possession of those photos.. To the delight of Gruden. Gruden is trash

    Overview of the Off Season

I believe the initial priority is not the OL, though it is a major component of the top priority.

    1. Make the offense more effective and responsive.

    2. Deepen the depth, whether it's by having rotational pieces which will enable us to maintain fresh legs without the pressure on the defense falling significantly or to have better replacements capable of playing when the inevitable injuries occur. We have done this in stages in the 2024 and now the 2025 off season.

There is enough out there to be either optimistic or pessimistic. I'm an optimist on potential. But the greater role will be whether the injuries are serious or typical and when they occur. But I believe what they have done to the depth makes optimism reasonable.

Last off season I was impressed enough with their acquisitions that I thought they could repeat their 10 win season, even though their schedule was 5 games tougher. Before I pat myself on the back too much, I did not foresee the severity of injuries to the receiving group or the lack of cohesiveness with a less injured OL, so I may have actually underestimated them.

I see more of the improvements possible in 2025 without a tougher schedule than in 2024. It's still tough, but not on a differential basis from the prior season.

So I'm going with a 12-5 forecast for the upcoming season.

    You missed the point.

Gruden despite your post, his opinion is a valid opinion. BTW, Smith did a terrible job for the players as head of the NFLPA. Although Gruden never should've typed that in his email. The cheerleader stuff obviously was on Allen.

I know absolutely nothing about Brinkman, but I hope he's good. You only notice the LS when he screws up, and him screwing up is an easy way to blow a game
