It should be. It's 2025, not 2015. A 2 seed has only lost 7 times ever to a 7 seed...a 7 seed that went on to get crushed in the next round by a team that got crushed the round after that The Rockets were clearly frauds this past season. Lots of meaningless regular season wins but they were the team EVERY team wanted to play because it was obvious they were going to be a first round exit no matter who they faced.
Eh not that exciting to me. Not impressed with his valuation of Brooks, offense and lack of accountability. Amazing how you can get an extension when you take zero blame and have some glaring weaknesses your ego doesn’t allow you to address. Good luck with that contract.
im not concerned with tito's money, but with the absolute power they have given Ime before he has proved he can put a decent offense on the floor. defensive only teams dont win championships. they could have waited a year to find out if he is willing to make the changes necessary to 1. put a competent offense on the floor and 2. further develop our young core on both sides of the court. I'm sick to my stomach over this extension, but will absolutely throw up with the inevitable extension of our diminutive pg

I was just referring to him being here the full length of the contract. Ownership groups can be fickle if what they want to happen doesn't happen; heads will roll, as we have seen.
The haters in this thread confuse me. Ime has been a breath of fresh air and is the primary reason for the rockets rapid rebuild. No coach is perfect. There is almost always a lean to being to offensive minded or too defensive minded. But for my money, Ime is as good as it gets in this league. Hopefully he’s learned from his indiscretions in Boston, but those are not related to his coaching.
Not hating just not worshipping. He has glaring weaknesses that Kerr made sure to point out thoroughly. Ime is a GREAT defensive coach. In order to be an overall great head coach he has to get better on the offensive side of the ball and get better with his rotations. Hopefully he does and I’ll join the Ime fan club, for now, I’ll stick with a bit of skepticism.
