In other words, you just post new threads whenever a thought pops into your head? No continuity of discussion. It’s forum etiquette. Responding to an existing thread about a topic is the polite thing to do. Aggregation of discussion and knowledge in one place. And I pour one out for my departed CF homies.
What is truly sad is that a federal holiday originating in Texas is not recognized by Texas government (in practice) as a full federal holiday. Texas state agencies remain open and consider it a "skeleton crew" holiday. Will not be surprised if there is an attempt to roll it back before the next presidential election.

Wow I going to ask if it was. Here in NY it's divided. In my union it's a floater. Those who work under me in a different union it's a full holiday. It got added this year for them. Makes for a nice slow day.
The current admin did not even acknowledge it and even made a statement that there are too many federal holidays without naming the Holiday so yea.......it wont be around much longer. How a person of color can stand by this admin is beyond me
