Trump administration’s gun policy agenda takes another step in a dangerous direction

The Justice Department plans to slash the number of inspectors who monitor federally licensed gun dealers by two-thirds, sharply limiting the government’s already crimped capacity to identify businesses that sell guns to criminals, according to budget documents. The move, part of the Trump administration’s effort to defang and downsize the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, comes as the department considers merging the A.T.F. and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

All I can say is why? Why do you want more criminals getting their hands on guns? This is not what Americans want.

Trump is bought and paid for by the NRA and gun dealers.

They cut all the IRS Agents so why should anyone even pay taxes? They don't have anyone to audit anymore.

Arming the populace dramatically DECREASES government power. Think about how powerless the people would be if only the government had guns. A quick study of history shows that under these scenarios, genocide and mass killing occurs. Armed people are not willing to be herded into rail cars and sent to die.

Trump is restoring power to the people. Yet another example.

This isn't about restricting arms to law abiding citizens. Maybe read the article before putting up that stupid response. Now, if by restoring power to the people means you approve of selling guns to criminals then you are crazy.

Sounds like Trump talking about illegals and the invasion of gang bangers, murderers, drug dealers, rapists, and all those released from insane asylums.

    Now that's hysteria.

Do you approve of selling guns to criminals?
