If we trade Jabari and keep the 10th pick I am ok with that. The Rockets could use the 10th pick to get a Jabari replacement.
No way dude. You'll never get a player with Jabari's two way switchable production at #10 and even if you do it will take years to develop. There are no minutes for rookies on this team so how will they even develop? Send #10 any day of the week before Jabari.
Why would they give up Claxton to have jalen playing 6 man? Do you think they aren't planning to resign Cam?
Cooper Flagg? Before you say that’s the number 1 pick. Just know Jabari was that a few hours before the draft. I’m not familiar with many players in this years draft, I just know 3 years from now you will have someone who averages 12 and 7 boards. Shows up every 6-7 games. Disappears half. Role player level.
Any career numbers for Bari (cumulative or average) will look bad because of his atrocious rookie season. But look at his last two years, and pretty much every competent cumulative advanced stat shows he's been an above average player and behind only Sengun, Amen and Tari among the young core. Most advance stats favor him over Jalen.
So… there aren’t guys of his profile every draft. So stop saying nonsense. And Bari is more than 2 inches taller than Flagg. Bari was 21 last season. If you “know” what he’ll be in a few years, you’re either a fortune teller or arrogant.
No, his advanced stats look like crap. VORP, BPM, PER. All bottom rungs of the rotation and most NBA plsyers If you're hanging your hat on Jabari Smith's productivity that's simply not going to work. There's a reason why he's down with JaeSean Tate. His numbers match his eye test production which is "role player who plays a lot of minutes but doesn't do a lot aside from grab the occasional board " Stats aren't everything - Dillon looks terrible but he is a pure volume 3 & D player and there's a reason why Udoka goes to him. Also a reason why he went away from jabby
