Seems like everyone left their offers on the table and walked away while the Suns mouthpiece screams into the void.
regardless of how u feel about green, it would b stupid if we trade him and picks for KD + sign him to that fat contract and he ends up like another PG in philly, we are gonna suffer immensely
Let him kill the Warriors deadline deal Might let him kill the Wolves deal So just trade him to his preferred spot(s)? Or send him on his way & take the best offer from Minnesota/Toronto?
@BimaThug the problem is that the 2027 Brooklyn swap could be our best asset. There’s a good chance that’s a top 4 pick. IMO that’s an asset you give up going all in on a franchise changer for the long term. Not a 36 yr old rental. I don’t want to give that, and the additional assets, up for Durant.
Go for young, talented healthy players on good or fair value contracts to avoid being in these situations.
Pretty close to what I posted in jest, but got tore up by certain posters. I wonder if you will get the same treatment. It’s nice to have someone reasonable join the party. I think it’s an overpay, but at least I know you have thought about the cap ramifications and are sincere when you post something.
Still giving away too much... trading 2 starters for 1 & not getting someone in return. You're betting on the #27 pick to hit & FVV is still your lynchpin. No bueno!
I agree, wholeheartedly here. I think our single best tradable draft asset is the nets pick in 2027. Jalen+#10+Brooks+future lotto protected first to Charlotte Durant and Salaun to Houston #4+Landale to Phoenix
And certain posters? Way too catty, bro... lol... do better If could get BRK to include Dariq Whitehead and Jalen Wilson, that's at least 2 players with potential.
That's more than I'd want to spend by way of picks for KD but at least we wouldn't be giving up any players that matter.
The trade Bima posted is basically the same trade I posted here a few times. Of course id be down for that.
I don’t like the trade and I stated it when I posted it. I like BimaThug’s even less. I don’t want to give up Jalen in a trade for Durant period. Including Jalen and probably Dillon and a pick is a vast overpay in my opinion. If they won’t take FVV and filler plus #10, I would walk away, but my name ain’t Stone. I would put that on the table and start looking elsewhere for trades if one comes up you like then tell Phoenix to stuff it. In fact, I’d put a deadline on it.
