You upgrade the 2 guard by upgrading the pg.

It all depends on the deal to get KD...trading FVV/Jabari/Cam/#10 pick or FVV/Jabari/#10 pick/Rockets 26 FRP...I would not trade Jalen/Jabari/picks for KD

Jabari is not someone any good GM would just throw into a deal, the deal has been around Jalen and #10, and PHX does not want it. They want Jabari. Many teams have signaled they do not want Jalen, but want Jabari. There is a reason for that.

I disagree. Fred has 1/1,000,000th the talent and gifts of Durant, and yet he led a bunch of 20 year olds to a 52 game win season. What did Durant do on his last two teams? Led them to such colossal disappointments that they completely imploded. If Kevin Durant becomes the leader of this team, I think missing the playoffs entirely is in play.

What many teams are you referring to??? Need a source otherwise you're making hypotheses like the rest of us...the Suns don't want Jalen Green because they're guard heavy...my guess is the Suns are trying to find a 3rd team to flip Jalen for draft picks, and get our 3-D wings in exchange for KD.
My guess is the Rockets are like "we can flip Jalen for draft picks ourselves and it's either Jalen/#10 pick/salary fillers or FVV/#10 pick/salary fillers."
In my opinion, Jabari is expendable...we can find another 12/7 wing through free agency...heck, Tari can replace Jabari

Trade FVV and move Amen to Pg where he belongs. This immediately speeds up the game and will also create movement without FVV dribbling out the shot clock. Amen almost always makes the right pass and is a willing passer. Much better at getting to the hoop and converting than Fred. I believe Jalen will improve his decision making if he isn’t operating one on one or one on two. If Jalen doesn’t perform better in a more off the ball role then you trade or bench him and spend some resources to upgrade the SG position.

    lol no.
For all of the teams that were below the Rockets in seeding, one or two more losses would have put them in the play-in so no, they weren't coasting by any means. Everything you said just keeps making your argument worse.

I am very okay with standing pat (insert Patrick Patterson meme). All of our young players have, at minimum, 4 years of improvement ahead of them.

At this point, I would only trade for KD if we don't have to give up Sengun, Amen Jabari or Reed. Also, I would not give up both of Jalen/Cam.

For those that missed it, Amen is working hard to grow as a player as well. They are literally growing organically real time

This is not a yes or no question. This is a Good, Bad and Ugly question.

Good - if we only give up Jalen, 10th pick, Brooks and scraps.
Bad - If we have to include any young core other than Green.
Ugly - We don't need another new KD thread.

absolutely. i just think getting rid of FVV is more important than getting rid of jalen.
