I can’t see Minnesota trading all of that for Durant.

I truly think Gobert Is an underrated player and I think he’s integral to their success. He may be capping out their ceiling a little bit, but I don’t Durant is changing that.

And I am certainly willing to trade Jaylen Green. I would much rather trade him over Jabari. That being said I still think that giving green another year is not a terrible idea and I do think that it’s possible that we see him continue to improve.

Jalen has been handed a large offensive role from day 1 and allowed to take all the shots he could handle regardless of how he performed…he is just a career 34% 3 point shooter for example, yet he averages over 7 threes attempted per game his 1st 4 seasons…James Harden didn’t have a single year where he took over 7 threes a game until his 7th season

I think Jamal Crawford, JR Smith, and many others could’ve given teams Jalen Green level production to start their careers if given that opportunity, especially in today’s NBA where it’s so much easier to score than back in the early 2000’s

KD is more of a play finisher than an initiator which is fine with me when he provides 25+ ppg on elite efficiency and elite floor spacing…it would still be an offense by committee type of thing, but at least we’d have someone we can count on to give us good offensive production every night

Honestly, after the 4th season and this post season, I have given up hope. That doesn't mean I think it's zero or close to zero. A 10% probability is still extremely low. I value Jabari more and would not trade Jabari for Jalen straight up.

Of course, all these estimates of chances are quite subjective. Even @The Cat admit that he could be wrong. If some day Jalen becomes a numero uno kind of player, I will be very surprised but I wouldn't say I'll be shocked. I have always maintained that he has shown enough flashes to indicate that he has the talent in him. It's just that he does not seem to have the ability to put it together, and it's not very likely to happen. If we keep him, my hope is that he will be a good rotation player coming off the bench.

he, like gambo, is clearly getting fed information from the Phoenix side. Gambo, is clearly okay with being a mouth piece for the organization and putting out what they tell him because he'll benefit in the long term as a local reporter. Sidery, on the other hand seems like he's just sharing everything he is told and hopes something sticks without much care where the information is coming from.

The longer this drags out the clearer it is that KD will be going to one of his three requested locations and not a team willing to take the gamble.

The Suns have a better player than anyone of the Rockets roster (a worse roster overall) and the Rockets got unlucky with the 10th pick. KD hasn't proven to be a true game changer that can carry a team to a conference finals since his devastating injury.

His health, to me, prevents his impact from being a home run and Stone knows more than me, he sees what I see and much more. There's a scenario where it all works out and KD to Houston leads to a championship in 2026, and if we had a crystal ball that told us the future was that, the trade would be done. The Suns think they are going to outlast the king of retention in who goes first. They are mistaken, Stone can last for ever.

He would have to be truly awful the rest of the time to end up at his numbers then.

    Draft still deadline?

Windhorst: If they’re gonna get a pick, which some teams like Minnesota have included, then yes, you want to be able to acquire that pick. However, it would be much better to go past the draft and get a deal you want. I keep talking about the Durant triangle: a place Durant wants, a deal the Suns are happy with and an agreement with a contract, whether they’re happy with a 1-year deal or an extension. That is hard to put together. If you can’t get that by the draft, you’re not gonna be rushed into a deal. The Suns are still sorting through their options. If Durant is gonna posture he doesn’t wanna be somewhere, I’m not sure they’re gonna get their best offer because a team like Houston or San Antonio know they don’t have to make a competitive offer because it’s not an open market.

Spears: Ant’s in Atlanta working out. They just went to the WCF. He’s not flying to LA to change KD’s mind.

Windhorst: Spears said this yesterday and did not get it get picked up out there so I’m glad he repeated it. Ant Edwards is not recruiting Durant. Durant doesn’t want to be in Minnesota. This is not heading towards Minnesota. Spears is making it clear the way Ant is feeling.

Media got enamoured with the idea of an Ant and KD duo, when in reality it's just two guys who probably do respect each other, but doesn't mean they want to be playing together.

The city KD chooses to work at matters to him, can't just be one specific teammate.

Gambo and Sidery are totally different. Sidery is an aggregator he just retweets everything that comes through the grapevine. Gambo is fed legit information from the Suns, but since it's just from the Suns everything will be from their POV. If they have the same information, it's cause Sidery copied Gambo's words and tweeted it out.

I think it’s us at this point. Phoenix is out of options and they want their pick.

If the Suns can't find the "deal they want" prior to the draft, why believe they could after the draft? There has been enough time already and the urgency of other teams should peak right before the draft.
