Bulls and Hornets could use Jalen. Bulls for example, between possibly overpaying Giddey or Coby, I'd take a Jalen on his current contract.
I want to know why Stone & Ime are in disagreements for KD I don’t think Ime would have an issue with Green being traded if Stone has already put him on the table. Is adding Jabari the disagreement? Is it weird that Fred’s name hasn’t even been mentioned once as a salary filler by any source?
Well, they aren't playing that youth and they will be gone as free agents to teams who will play them.
I put that at 5%. He improved greatly on defense but it's troubling his lack of progress on offense. He's might be the worst #1 option in the league....
My guess would be the disagreement would be about one of Ime's guys like Brooks or FVV potentially being included
lol maybe but I’m not asking him to be #1. Just a #1-3 any given night between Amen & Sengun. I don’t think Amen is a SG and I want Fred off this team before anybody so I’m biased at the moment
I don't see people making comments like this about Anthony Edwards or Cade Cunningham.... If he's a star he should be helping his teammates be better, not relying on his teammates to lookike a good player.
I'm not a FVV guy but Ime is and until Ime takes a step back there's no reason to question his judgment. I would start Amen at PG and have FVV back to be a backup for minutes you want to sub Amen for Jabari... I want Amen at the point because he's not a catch and shoot threat. Like with Westbrook, if they surround him with shooters he doesn't have to be one as much. Sengun is maybe developing enough that he has to be guarded at the 3 and not given the Draymond treatment. If he can shoot 35-40% on wide open looks then it's enough for spacing.
Always find it funny when people act like FVV is a ball hog. When Jalen is actually aggressive and does s**t FVV becomes the role player he's supposed to be. He only starts forcing s**t when Green pulls one of his patented vanishing acts. This has been demonstrated repeatedly. People talk about Jalen needing a PG, I would love to see FVV with an actual perimeter scorer he could defer to instead of one who runs from the ball forcing undertalented scorers to try and score.
The Hornets are interesting. I'm wondering if the Suns are trying to land Mark Williams. He'd be a really good young piece to pair with Booker.
So the trajectory of keep building on this foundation thrown out the window for a 37-year old? If we’re going to trade youth it should be for a star, not a fragile little boy who feels the need to prove himself to 12 year olds online. KD is a guy you go for when you already have a star and just need someone to occasionally cary the bench in the playoffs.
no one is saying he's a star. at least i'm not. But you have a high flying speedy quick SG and we have probably thrown him less than 5 alleyoops this entire season, it's absurd. Do YOU think Fred VanVleet helps him?
I guess I value Jabari differently than others on here. People get too caught up with the concept of Jabari, but the reality and results speak for themselves. His production screams role player, and he just got demoted to the bench this season. If Phoenix thinks Jabari is enough to be the centerpiece of a KD trade, they can have him. He is replaceable. To acquire KD and still have: Amen Sengun Reed Tari Cam FVV Brooks Adams Future Phoenix picks Future Brooklyn pick All of our draft picks .. this is a no brainer. Like what are we talking about?
