You've done it in the Rockets forum too. Don't act like it's limited to Trump supporters

Trump's health is becoming a concern? Just asking questions.

Writing at Substack, Dean Blundell had this several days ago:

…Washington insiders and observers abroad alike are whispering about the 79-year-old president’s noticeably limited public schedule in 2025, his rare forays onto the world stage, and even whispers of incontinence. What might once have been dismissed as fringe chatter has gained traction through credible accounts and viral evidence – from photos at a June UFC event to remarks by former aides – raising pointed questions about Trump’s vitality as he prepares to meet other world leaders. The conversation is no longer confined to internet gossip; it’s spilling into mainstream discourse in a way that the Trump White House is finding impossible to ignore.

    Serious Speculation of Declining Health

The thesis underlying these discussions is straightforward: President Trump may be in significant physical decline, and his aides are keenly aware of it. This is not idle tabloid fare but a collage of well-sourced rumors and first-hand accounts that, taken together, paint a troubling picture. The pattern is hard to ignore – a sharp drop-off in Trump’s once-ubiquitous public appearances, hints of mobility and continence issues, and conspicuous adjustments in how he engages with the press and peers. In short, many are asking whether the commander-in-chief, who once boasted about marathon trips abroad, is now struggling to meet the physical demands of the presidency.

Windmill is the same as windfall? Clearly Trump mis-tweeted the "truths" ... something that he has consistently done over the last 10 years.

Is Trump losing his mental faculties? It is hard to tell given his profound ignorance on most issues and that he is not all that smart. There is a nonzero change that Trump has thought his entire life that "windmills" and windfalls" are the exact same thing.

Biden was clearly not up to being president due to his cognitive decline, but he still had the good judgement to surround himself with competent people who he would listen to enough to keep things under control.

Now as crazy man Trump declines cognitively he doesn't have the judgement to listen to anyone which will be a bigger problem. Or he doesn't have the judgement not to go with whomever he talks to last. His little guy supporters who see him as a nearly God like figure will blindly hang on so therefore the gutless and bought GOP in Congress will thus hang on.

I had many an argument with Biden supporters that Trump was more intact than the faltering Biden, but Trump is clearly getting worse and approaching Biden's level of decline..

Our only way out may be to invoke the 25th Amendment and have him declared mentally unfit for office. Embarrassingly as it may be, he more he fails in public presentations and interviews the better. What a disgrace for our country to look like this for the whole world.

By the way, what is Trump's latest this evening (though it might change by morning) on Iran, Ukraine, deporting hotel workers or farm workers, tariffs, budget deficits etc.?

This is actually really ****ing scary. Trump is being briefed on the Israel Iran "conflict" and you know he has an attention span of an gnat. He is profoundly ignorant of most things, including ME political history and dynamics. Even if he did have an attention span, he is smart enough to figure out a plan to end this conflict.

What Trump is "street smart" about is who is weaker and who is less likely to punch back, which works great in a middle school play ground but less so in the Oval Office. I fully expect Trump to punch Iran, because he can, and call it a day.

The difference between Biden's cognitive decline and Trump's is that Trump has all the signs of a sociopath and psychopath, which makes him far more dangerous. He reacts with anger, retribution, ego, narcissism, and spite. He makes impulsive decisions, often against the facts laid out to him by his intelligence agencies and colleagues. He does what he wants, and often that tends to be whatever is in it for him personally.
