The thing is, Iran did accept his "latest" proposal which was face to face talks. Those talks were coming up. His Secretary of State bragged about those talks being the result of Trump, his DNI said Iran hasn't moved on nukes, his lead negotiator expressed optimism about the talks and said it was all because of Trump, Trump publicly told Israel not to do anything to Iran...

    Then Israel attacked. LOL

He didn't fail at negotiating with Iran, he never got to negotiate with them because Bibi doesn't want the US to make another deal. Now he has to backtrack and pretend he greenlit this attack and say "it doesn't matter what she says" about his own DNI and neuter his Secretary of State because he can't look weak.

Bibi made a calculated call. Trump told him not to strike, but Bibi bet that if he just ignored him and did it anyway that Trump would be too scared of looking weak and would just lie and say he greenlit it. He was right.

I feel like an outcast without a voice. I don’t want my tax dollars going to support the Israelis. Or the Saudis. Or the Emirates. Or Iranians or Egyptians or any of the other peoples in the Middle East. Or to pay for their war machines. To fund their atrocities. But my politicians are unified in one thing, it is their love of Israel.

    Ehh do we?

There were a lot of gung-ho people to enter Vietnam, and Desert Storm and the second invasion of Iraq and even Afghanistan.

I think that the American people are tired of the economic cost of war for 20 straight years - but the reality is that a lot of Americans really don't give a **** as long as they somehow benefit. The stink of Vietnam lasted about 15-20 years.

The solution is that all of the elected officials should have their children and grandchildren immediately drafted into active duty - and then we can start sending Ivy League students and seniors in high school and see how excited people are.

I really do not understand the odd control that Bibi and Putin have over Donald Trump.

I recently saw a video of Trump speaking to Bibi and he literally pulled Bibi's chair out, pushed it in for him, then dusted off the shoulders of his jacket and took at step back until Bibi acknowledged him and started praising Bibi..... Another politician doing this? Sure - but Trump is the type of guy that wouldn't even open the car door for his pregnant wife, and the type of guy that pushes past women and children.

I also was thinking about how Barrack Obama was called "the most divisive President ever" by his critics. I did not agree with all of the decisions Obama made, especially when it came to foreign policy and handling of Eric Holder..... but I don't think there can be ANY doubt that Donald Trump is the most divisive President since at least Andrew Jackson, if not Andrew Johnson.

Exactly! Then let's see how elected officials feel about war. Can you imagine Trump's son Barron fighting in Iran or the Middle East? Would he mysteriously develop bone spurs too? Jr., Ivanka, and Eric sure as hell didn't volunteer to sign up and fight in any wars.

Iraq and Afghanistan- America was actually attacked so people went based on nationalism and patriotism. This with Iran is not the same thing.

Joe Rogan’ Regular Backtracks on Supporting Trump and Calls for His Impeachment Instead

Smith, a frequent guest on Joe Rogan’s podcast, went on to describe Trump’s involvement in Israel and Iran’s conflict as an “absolute betrayal of everything that he ran and campaigned on.”

I don't understand how people fell for the "Donald the Dove" act a second time.

Trump says we know where their leader is. That means we have no idea where their leader is.

Trump's tweets don't mean "we're in." Trump wants to be the big man and take credit for anything he thinks makes him look strong to his supporters.

Furk. Here's the other posts he put up. Declarations of war and diplomacy through inane social media posts on a backwards platform. Good job everyone.

Somebody give a gentle shake to Schumer so he wakes up and writes a sternly-worded letter to the White House.

To psychoanalyze him from a distance, I'd say that Trump looks up to strongmen for a few reasons:
    • He wants to be one because it's a role he understands both personally and professionally. He inherited and ran The Trump Organization, not Constitutional Democracy, Inc. He chafes at personal limitations, whether it be a woman telling him not to grab her by the p***y or a cabinet appointee not doing his bidding.

    • Strongmen like Putin, Bibi, MBS, and Kim Jong-Un see Trump for what he is: a child who wants his distant, cruel father to love him. So, they flatter him. They give him gifts, heap praise upon him, invest in his properties, and humor his whims because they know he isn't smart, is emotionally-damaged, and is predisposed to wanting to please them.

    • As much as he wants to be a strongman, he shrinks in their presence. Look at what we know about his father: cruel, strong-willed, black-and-white view of the world, dog-eat-dog mentality. Trump gravitates toward foreign leaders who embody that persona because it's what he's always had to gravitate toward if he wanted any semblance of affection. The world would've been a better place if Fred Trump had told his kids he loved them.
