Which Phoenix Sun said that? You believe the sources that make your points. No one other than Phoenix knows what they think of Jalen. It is all speculation or Phoenix releasing information to try and pump up the price. Phoenix will be posturing all the way up to the draft. There is no reason to do otherwise. I have not seen one press release I believe. NBA teams trying to make a trade always release what they think will give them an advantage or maybe, in some cases, covering their asses with fans.

Not only that but I'd argue that there's a causal link between Sengun having a down season when it comes to scoring efficiency and having to try and operate in the post on a team with the worst shooting backcourt in the league.

Adams had the worst TS% since he was 20 years old last year as a result of the lack of spacing the PG SG and SF provide.

The Rockets win if he goes to any of those teams.

It was all the talking heads were talking about yesterday, how the Suns started asking around to see if there was a team they could dump Jalen on if he was part of a KD trade because whatever little they could get for him was more valuable than he'd be to them as a player.

    Yeah, no kidding. :D

The Phoenix Suns may be placing too high a value on Kevin Durant and might have to reduce their asking price in negotiating a trade, league sources inform The Arizona Republic.

The Suns have “no leverage” in part because of Durant's age and because he wants to start fresh elsewhere, league sources say. The idea of Durant returning to a team that entertained deals for him before the 2025 trade deadline isn’t a pleasant one.

So, a team can wait and see if Phoenix asks for less in a trade. The Suns also would like to get this done before the June 25-26 NBA draft because draft picks are expected to be part of any deal.

When The Republic began talking to league sources about the Suns trading Durant, one NBA executive said the team should always look to get the "best deal" even when working with a player on finding a trade partner.

Phoenix may reach that point and wind up moving Durant outside of his three preferred teams.

Looking at teams who have surfaced in trade talks, Minnesota has been viewed as the one with the most interest in Durant, league sources say.

did you factor in other teams are going to improve as well? Do you think our halfcourt offense is going to magically improve from horrendous to good? Mortgage the future is Jalen Green, Jabari and the 10th pick? Sorry if that’s our future, good luck to us. But then again, players like you are infatuated with draft picks and homegrown talent but if you were on the other side, you’d call those same players bums.

Link to one "talking head" who said that. The majority I heard who discussed Jalen made it seem like the Suns may try to move Jalen to Memphis to get back their 2026 FRP. I didn't hear a single person say Jalen has "no value." You're making stuff up.

During the Bridges thing. Rockets reportedly dangled Green and the Nets were like nah.

I believe the source was Mike Scotto, but it was spread pretty widely, I think even Bima reposted it.

Someone asked if we gave up on Daisen Nix too soon. While it’s true he was once a 5-star recruit way back in 2020, for those not familiar w/ the situation, he bypassed college for The G-League where he’s “mostly” been ever since with “multiple” NBA teams having a look through their farm system and releasing him, the Rockets currently doing so for their 2nd stint w/ Rio Grande Valley. Anything’s possible, but feels like if he was going to make the league it would’ve happened by now

We don’t know for sure if Jalen and #10 are on the table, but if so that’s a solid offer. The question I have is woukd folks be willing to add Cam as a sweetener or do you walk away from anymore than just Jalen and #10? I’m not sure I’d want to give up anymore, but I guess it just depends on what you think of Cam. To me he’s not a throw-in.

I’d feel so much more comfortable if we paid a high price for a Desmond Bane-type player, or like a Trey Murphy. Someone who could be a true core piece for us for years to come. As opposed to giving up real assets for a 2-yr rental that still probably doesn’t put us in contention with OKC.

Key word is “reportedly”. Nobody knows what was said during those negotiations. Woj is the only talking head I have any faith in and he rarely reports this kind of nonsense. He usually just reports what is about to happen shortly thereafter, because he has solid sources that tell him before others what is about to be released.

Trying to grab kd by giving up assets and our young player when we have all the leverage would b the stupidest thing to do.

Milwaukee really should have kept letting Brandon Jennings pound the rock. He would have worked out eventually.

Reports say that's what the Rockets offered and the Suns wanted Jabari and Reed included plus another team to dump Jalen's contract on.

I doubt we even consider that.
