What I want and what will happen are very different things. Wanting 3/5 of our starting lineup to be moved in FVV, Green & Brooks. Want to see Reed grow into starting caliber player over the first half of the season then start the second half. I see some value in KD as a Rocket. Green & Brooks and #10 then let FVV walk or resign for a backup role and pay. Plug KD into our team and let the national media coverage fall in love with us. KD and JSJ are similar in many ways. So hopefully JSJ benefits from KD presence and opportunity to grow from him being here. JSJ, Amen and Reed with Sengun. Lead by KD.
Getting a new player while structurally running the same sets with much of the same players doesn’t address the recurring offensive issues with this team. This style and personnel doesn’t win championships. Durant and Sengun combo won’t beat Warriors or OKC or the top paint defenders in the league. I would wager management is looking to shake up this team and would not be surprised if they traded both Sengun and Green for stars.

There is no education in guessing this but I can almost guarantee that the Coach is the first one to either be sacked or resign...... Even big names such as Udoka are not safe. Maybe in 3-4 years.
