I'd be done if either go in a trade for KD. I'd just be done with the Owner, GM, and coach, if they allow that to happen.
This is the type of report that means something. Not a lot of the other posts. If they are exploring re-routing JG4 then they are considering a deal shortly. This in tandem with the post about JG4 wanting to stay in Houston. I bet he was informed he is being discussed in a deal.
[QUOTE="Mathloom, post: 15772531, member: 33940" It was a 7 game series that came down to the last quarter. Replacing any starter with Durant would have resulted in the win. This is not how people calculate things.[/QUOTE] because the other three starters are Alpy/Amen/FVV, it doesn't make sense trading them for KD. if you'd replacing any starter(s) for KD it's Green/Brooks.
I've been saying that we should bring in BKN as a third team for Green with Nic Claxton going to PHX. You might have to sweeten that deal a little for BKN, but it's certainly possible and gives PHX the center they crave.
That Phoenix pick in Memphis they got for Bane certainly raised an eyebrow from me as it pertains to Jalen Green. Also Zach Edey. Houston gets: Kevin Durant - Grayson Allen Memphis gets: Jalen Green Phoenix gets: Zach Edey - 2025 # 10 - Phoenix pick from Memphis - Future pick swap with protections - Jock Landale
Yes. The only player I'm really comfortable parting with is Tari. And that's only because of his injury issues the past 2 years.
Phoenix can't aggregate players and they won't be allowed to do separate trades to the same team in an attempt to circumvent the rules.
Yea its funny cause i was hearing Knicks fans recently say they probably trade Brunson for Jalen and 2 first. lol Maybe Jalen has some value lol
This does have aggregate problems, but I think Phoenix is greedy and will want another forward from the Rockets.
Suns: Might as well just ask for everyone, maybe including Ime Udoker and Ben Sullivan. The Rockets, however, have been unwilling to part with 22-year-old First Team All-Defensive selection Amen Thompson in trade talks, league sources told HoopsHype. It’s believed that Houston would also not want to part with 22-year-old All-Star Alperen Sengun in talks for Durant. Source: HoopsHype
The whole key with Durant is don’t overpay. Green, Whitmore, and their firsts, all day long. If PHX insists on Thompson or Sengun, screw them. I MIGHT consider Sengun in a Giannis trade but not for a 37 yo Durant.
They want a Center to pair up with Booker (De'Andre Ayton memories), that is the pathway to Durant, but Bari is hardly qualifying as a Center. That is why they are after Kel'el Ware, Zubac and might go for Vucevic.
All their picks for Durant is a massive overpay and then you want to add Green? Forget it. One pick if Jalen is part of the deal. Two picks if FVV is the main contract going back. I think trading Jalen for Durant is pretty idiotic anyway. If he had a batman to his robin he will be a valuable player.
yep I think it’s clear that Jalen is being discussed as part of a potential KD deal. He doesnt really fit in Phoenix . And it makes sense they would potentially want to convert him into draft picks and player assets that fit better around Book. I can only hope that Stone has already done his homework on Jalen’s league-wide value and determined a better return could not be had elsewhere.
but he’ll play like he’s 40 in 3 yrs. I’m sure u watched him last year. Tell me that’s not a declining player. Tell me I’m wrong.
