Most Jewish Israelis came from Eastern Europe/Russia/USSR. Even if they strongly support Israel, a Jewish person in New York has 0 reason to live full time Israel unless they get to be Prime Minister (Like Bibi who went to HS in a suburb outside of Philly). No reason for an Israeli to move back to western russia/ukraine given the total war either. And I don't think Polish people would accept them nor any other non-Pole right now. They could come to the US but we have currently heavily restricted this process for everyone but white afrikaners. Germany unironically might be the best place to go.

Netanyahu has been sabotaging Iran deals for over a decade, but Trump's 2018 move made this mess inevitable.

Remember Netanyahu's cartoon bomb stunt at the UN in 2012? He was already trying to kill diplomacy with Iran back then. Then in 2018, Trump pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal that was actually working, with no replacement plan. Iran restarted their nuclear program in response.

Now in 2025, Netanyahu is blocking new diplomatic efforts again. Same playbook, but far more dangerous with actual military strikes.

If we get dragged into war with Iran, it's not just Netanyahu's fault - it's the direct result of Trump destroying a deal that was keeping Iran's nuclear program in check.

 

I am a victim of some misinformation: either the quantity of the Iranian salvos are decreasing because they're running out of usable launch platforms/commanders from Israeli strikes (see the barrage of IDF missile attacks across Iran) vs they've overwhelmed the Israeli aerial defenses and don't need the massive salvos (50% hit rate on most recent 30 missile attack).

Both sides can destroy high rises and military sites with their missiles and now both sides use terror (see Israeli car bombs today). But neither side can wage an actual war without ground forces. Syria is neutered. Hezbollah is neutered. Iraq is a US Puppet. Jordan is an Israeli Puppet (LOL). Egypt won't be doing anything. And Turkey has no issues watching Israelis and Iranians kill each other.

Russia is too weak to help out Iran, China will do business with whomever is in charge in Iran so they're not going to help either. We (US), the UK, and France will likely help Israel with both more material support and almost certainly intelligence support. But I don't see the US, UK, or France putting boots on the ground. If Israel achieves and maintain air superiority, there is no way for Iran to even stalemate this conflict. Iran could make nuclear weapons and use them but wouldn't that be ironic (and terrible).

 

With unrestricted air superiority, Israel could achieve this.

Tehran is toast.

These wars never stop man. Iran has a brutal and evil regime, but what replaces it (if that’s even realistically possible) can be much worse

i don’t think so, it’s one thing to rage an air campaign but all the sites are deep u derground and according to dosimetric readings Iran is no worse off to get a nuke. In fact , it’s an absolute must for them at this point probably. Any sort of destruction would require endless bunker buster and troops on the ground.

This thing reeks more and more of PR than actually stopping a nuke. They’re hoping the Iranians will rise up not realizing they just united most of them.

tbis was a doomed and stupid plan that was intended to bait the US in since it’s the only country that can invade. They don’t even have the bunker busters needed to get close to the facilities

now that it’s clear they won’t stop them from obtaining a nuke it’s become obvious Iran will do anything to get one given pre-emptive strikes and assasinations/bombings whenever. I worry for the world. We are not safer

 

If you’ve “decapitated the snake and gained complete air superiority” your country wouldn’t be enveloped in rocket fire nor would you need to ask the US to join. They knew this was hopeless

 

The public must have a very short attention span…they don’t even have to look at the most recent regime change in Iraq and Afghanistan…they can look at the ****ing regime change in Iran a couple of decades ago.

Israel, with the US's blessing, will shatter Iran into 4-5 countries on ethnic lines. There won't be a post ayatollah Iran to even fight back.

The United States and its allies will never allow the Middle East to coalesce around an anti-US major regional power as long as oil powers the modern economy. We are the successor to the UK and are still without a peer. We do not actually care about Israel or Jews but as long as they act as a barracks to counter the Egyptians, Turks, Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, and Iranians, we will turn a blind eye to their acts and happily arm them.

The major powers tried to do this to the Ottoman Empire, and it was only through the Turks fighting back that they were able to maintain their nation.

Yo are being incredibly optimistic, history would beg to differ. Iran is probably working on their nuke hoping to test it in the open, at which point nuclear war will be in the open and this dumbass operation will have failed

we couldn’t contain Iraq or Afghanistan …Iran is bigger, more sophisticated and has been prepping for this for decades having seen the above result. You’re seeing a lot of the smoker of war. Iran doesn’t have to defeat anyone in the skies, they have to get their nuke at which point MAD comes into play. The only way to get around that is a massive ground operation that eclipses Iraq many fold.
