Where do we get all these pitchers that come out of nowhere to throw 1 run games? This is proof that Maldy was pretty much worthless since this season's staff with Diaz has done more with a lot less.

Yes he looks like someone that doesn't play the outfield a ton. I'm assuming that's the case here.

 

It's funny, I said he needs to KISS, you give him great players, and he gets all goofy, well with these kinds of rosters he has to!

I don't know winning 2-1 after going scoreless for 8 innings against a pretty mediocre pitcher is pulling the right strings. I give all the credit for Walter coming out of nowhere and pitching like an ace.
