KD opens up the game for Amen, Alpi and even JG. Just trade Fred…

if Trey Murphy is available that should be our singular focus.

I’m not real high on Cam, but the point is valid that the Rockets have lots of assets and lots of opportunities to improve our team. It doesn’t have to be a trade for a big name or a superstar if the price is too steep. We need to upgrade our backcourt and shooting, there are a lot of ways to accomplish that. Durant can be a part of it at the right price, but he does not propel us into contention without other complimentary moves.

I find the rumored Timberwolves' trade more compelling than most. Gobert would fix a lot of the Suns' defensive issues (not to mention they desperately need a center), DD would be a great spacer for Booker, and Dillingham is a nice young prospect (something the Suns' clearly lack).

Ime probably ready to trade everyone except Fred, Amen, and Tari to make it happen and Stone / Patrick won’t let him have his way

Minnesota would be thrilled to do this trade. ‘They would just be trading defense for offense and that’s only if they can’t find a journeyman center that rebounds and plays defense. Conley, Ant, Durant, Randall, Reid is fantastic offensively, but probably not so great on defense so they would need to probably find an anchor and bring Reid off the bench.

I like your thoughts, but please know that the Rockets can’t trade FVV because he is not signed. He can go anywhere he wants without us trading him.

In 2 years Jabrari will be better than a 39 year old Durant. Rockets are offering Jabrari, Jalen, and the 10th pick??? Is there anybody on this board that thinks this is good for our future in a scary loaded West?

I’d label it a risk for sure given Durant’s age, but not as unfathomable as some of the most vocal on these boards want to label it. There are looming cap considerations for this franchise that factor into these moves as well. In 2 years Jabari may very well be better than 39 year old Durant (also maybe not), but could The Rockets afford that version of Jabari? And in the meantime, maybe no elite shooter/scorer, no veteran leadership. I’ll tell you this: I have ZERO problems including Green in a Durant deal, but, yeah, definitely comes with risks

No sh*t Sherlock. They can trade him by picking up the team option and can even trade him in a sign and trade at the same time they extend him.

Anybody with a social media account can make up whatever they want to. There is no real journalism in the world nowadays. One way to get people to like you is to tell them what they want to hear. Today the Minnesota fans are probably loving the guy. The other day it was San Antonio so those fans like the poster. It’s all bullshit. Somebody will be right on the destination, because all destinations will have been mentioned and then that poster will be considered an insider at least for a while. It’s all bullshit and not worth getting excited about.
