Follow the money trail. Big donors get big deals, investigations and prosecutions settled with a slap on the wrist, and also big pardons. It doesn't matter who died, who was injured from their deceit, or how many millions they swindled from Medicare or innocent victims. If the criminal is a big donor, then Trump will give them a break. Tough on crime, unless you donate to him or support him.

Boeing Jet Crashes Weeks After 'Sweetheart Deal' With Trump DOJ to Avoid Criminal Prosecution

"If Trump's DOJ hadn't worked out a deal to help Boeing avoid going to trial for its crimes, that trial would be starting on Monday."

    Jun 12, 2025

Boeing, which donated $1 million to U.S. President Donald Trump's inaugural fund, agreed to pay $1.1 billion in exchange for avoiding criminal responsibility.

"The deal marks one of the most shocking lapses of criminal enforcement against a major corporation in memory," Robert Weissman, co-president of Public Citizen, said after the deal was announced. "The Trump administration touts how it is tough on crime, but when it comes to the world's most powerful institutions, it is an all-time patsy."

Trump Admin Expected to Drop Boeing 737 Max Criminal Probe: Victim Lawyers

Published May 16, 2025 at 12:13 PM EDT

Today the Justice Department's Criminal Division held a 'conferral session' but didn't truly confer at all," Cassell said. "Instead, they conveyed their preconceived idea that Boeing should be allowed to escape any real consequences for its deadly lies."

He described the meeting as "bizarre" and warned that any effort to dismiss the case would be met with formal opposition before U.S. District Judge Reed O'Connor.

Cassell emphasized that Boeing has already admitted guilt and should not be shielded from prosecution. "Dismissing the case would dishonor the memories of 346 victims," he said

That, blackmail, or both. We'll see what happens if Diddy is convicted.

When you work for an American aerospace company it's kind of hard to justify falling out of a window, which seems to be a constant problem in Russia, though.

Is gravity worse over there? Do their windows not latch?
