    What will probably happen:

Durant for Green, Landale, Cam, and # 10

FVV resigned for 3//100 with last year as team option.

What I would like to see happen:

Durant for FVV, Landale, Cam and # 10.

Green and PHX picks for Garland.

    Garland/Reed
    Amen
    Brooks/Tari
    Durant/Bari
    Sengun/Adams

Much improved offense with Garland and Durant and still have 5/7 of the young core for depth.

You probably could add Hauser from BOS as the backup wing / SG for 3 SRPs. That would get you a solid 10.

I don’t believe stone has the cojones to trade anyone. I lost hope last deadline

    - No superstar trades materialize, although we're connected to them Stone won't sacrifice the young chess pieces for a bloated or aging queen... I pray!

    - My heart/head says it's time for FVV to transition to a smaller role and less money, but my gut says Ime can't let his safety blanket go just yet. Stone has to come to a compromise on contract cost or pivot to my preferred option--trade for Derrick White and let Fred go or trade him. While letting Fred go or trading him may have us take one step backwards, later in the year I think we take two steps forward with Reed, Amen and TBD (White, rookie, etc.).

    - One trade scenario I believe Stone may be more comfortable with is sending #10 and a player (Cam, Tari or X) to move up in the draft with 4-8 picks being the range and Kon, Tre or Jaku being the targets.

    - Adams: Two things I haven't seen mentioned but believe will factor into his decision are winning and his mentoring. He likely wants to win a championship and will look to where he can contribute to that cause. He bought into Ime's approach and his role in a big way. He may want to build on that success. I also think he relishes relationships and his ability to impact a team's culture. Having shared office space with a Kiwi-owned business (all rugby players/coaches as well) they're truly great folks, who will go out of there way to help you if you need it. They're really hard working, and the "work hard/play hard" mantra definitely applies. Really want him back!

    - I think Stone/Ime likely want to bring back Uncle Jeff and Tate. I think Holiday is likely gone. Landale's contract is valuable and he's an always ready 3rd string center, which has proven useful.

I read what you said, did you read my postings?

Beal has a no trade clause on $58M

Booker is getting a two year $150M ($75M per year)

They don't want another guard....Jalen Green or VanVleet .....NO CHANCE

    ______________

Nets would accept Landale because many are offering a lot for Nic Claxton.
Landale is a temporary fill - in on the cheap $8M.
    with
Jabari, Nets would probably give Ja ari $30M and he would start. They can patiently allow
Jabari to develop two to three years. Rockets don't have that kind of timeline or money to
    pay that much.....not right now.

The only other player coming up for cash is probably Cam Thomas.
Nets want young talent and draft picks....fire sale of Claxton does that.
    Jabari is perfect for them.

They don't want one for one Dillon for Cameron Johnson.

Rockets are probably standing pat if no Cameron Johnson trade.....which means another
    First round knockout next season.

I can see a scenario of Durant going to the Spurs. Their fans aren't going to cry about
losing a few players. Sometimes you have to rush losing your Bishop or Rook to bag
    a Queen piece.

I can see the Spurs getting Durant to join Wemby and steal Steven Adams in free agency.

Durant (SF).....Wemby (PF) ....Steven Adams (C)
    vs
    Amen (SF).......Tari or Jabari (PF).....Sengun (C)

Spurs Frontline will kick our front lines @$$ for the next 3 years....yes even with Amen.

Wemby will probably average 34 points, 14 rebounds
Durant will be held down by Amen to 28 points, 10 rebounds
Steven Adams will probably get 12 points and 13 rebounds in 30 mins.

Adams I believe was a 14.8 rebounds with Houston this season per-36 minutes.

One part done. This will fall apart if the Rockets get Durant.

    I believe we will re-sign FVV 100%

I prefer to let Jeff Green walk as there’s nothing more infuriating than watching a good player like him not be played by a coach like Ime. Let him go where he’s valued. But he’ll be back most likely.

Tate may be used in a trade package.

We won’t sign a big name, but only trade up or down during draft night potentially.

draft the 10th pick or trade for 2 future firsts
    Re-sign FVV

    thats it

We all know Stone doesn’t work past draft day so our roster after draft day will be our roster until next draft day.
Like I said, having this treasure chest of picks means absolutely nothing when you have a GM who prioritizes job security over improving the team.

I hate resigning FVV because it means Ime wont play Reed enough mins and our starting PG is still a bricklayer.

He's been here 5 years and hasn't been able to find a 2 way player that can even enter the game let alone be useful. What in the world did he think Jack Mcveigh was going to do and all the other bums he found? I can't even blame Ime for them not playing, Nate Williams is one of the worst players ive ever seen.

We bring back Adams for 3/39

Bring back Fred for 3/80 ish deal. Trade 10 for a future pick. Waive Landale, keep Holiday, offer Tate and Jeff vet minimums. Offer some new FA who’s better at shooting a TP-MLE.

    3/8 is too much.

Dude only shooting 37% and 4.4 assists in 40 mins playing time.

    I want a better PG.

You’re mixing regular season numbers with post season numbers. Down year for sure. Few players who play his level of defense, hit 3’s, makes passes without the turnovers, with good leadership that are available.

If there was an upgrade available for a reasonable price I’m sure our FO would make it, but I think many fans overestimate the amount of players that would be an upgrade in Freds role, obtaining such a player might be very difficult and costly, perhaps so costly that a deal wouldn’t be worth making in most situations.

Rockets should be content with just staying put.

Seriously they have a young team which was a 2nd seed, pushed a team with Butler and Curry to 7 games. They are just starting to rise technically. So really it makes no sense to dismantle a team for 37 year old kd, just because you need a consistent scorer at SG.
Most of the games you had Jabari, Eason and Brooks stepping up when Green was having bad nights. So it really doesnt make sense to just
add all them into a trade.

Lets hope they do nothing. Let the spurs burn half there young roster for Aging KD.

Why Fred when you have the #3 draft pick from last yr? Fred slows the team and can't get by anyone. Plus he's shooting 36%

None of this solves defenses sitting back in the paint waiting for a Sengun dribble drive spin or low post then trapping Durant.
