He is a fast processor, but he isn't quick like Tari. His non existent jumper, really can hurt us.

I'm not surprised with the invitation to Demin. I didn't expect Asa Newell to get one.

Call me crazy but I like Nique Clifford. Older 2-way wing who knows how to play. Then I may deal Cam Whitmore for another piece.

I wouldn't use the Rockets staff as an example of being able to develop shooters. Reed and Jabari both lit up college and can't even shoot at league average level in the NBA. Jalen's 3pt% improved by 0.1% from his rookie year to his 4th year. And Sengun looks like there's no hope of him ever being an outside shooter. Also I am really not sure what's the ceiling for CMB. You can't use a ceiling of Draymond because his BBIQ is off the charts and the league somehow allows him to pull off his crap. I'm thinking he can be a better version of PJ Tucker. But that still feels like too low a ceiling to be taking at 10. I'd rather just get Jackucionis who can be a Goran Dragic/lesser Haliburton type.

    So far it seems that

Flagg, Harper, Edgecombe, Bailey, Fears, Johnson, Essengue

are almost surely slated to be picked top 9, guess highly likely one of Knueppel, CMB, Carter, Maluach may fall to 10. Not bad if Rockets decide to make the pick imo

Also Jakucionis. Where are you seeing Essengue going top 9?

It’s amazing how people complain about how the Rockets can’t shoot but they continue to want players that can’t shoot.

If we can’t move up for Kon or Tre and we cant trade out for a 2026 pick, then at #10 I hope we are considering Bryant or Coward.

Carter Bryant would be absolutely great for this team. Great defender, rebounder, high iq, can shoot the three. Our future small forward once we move on from Dillon and Tate while being on a cost control contract for 4 years.

Essengue needs more time and experience in Europe. He has the tools, but he is very raw. Some team may take a gamble on him, but I feel he is a 11-15 player.

    R. Barlowe (who’s also plugged in) also thinks he goes top 10.

Givony, a s****y evaluator but plugged in with teams and had good track record of near-draft big board accuracy, put him 9th.

I've only seen YouTube videos, but he looked real solid as a 3 and D player, with a good perimeter shot and good awareness of his complementary role.
He kind of looked like a small forward version of Jabari Smith Jr. on the Rockets, which I mean as a compliment.

The big question I have is whether his offense can really translate on the NBA level.
I'm not sure how good his shot will be when defenses get tighter and he'll have to put up his shot quicker.
I can see him going through similar struggles as Smith did and does, and maybe even more.

Still, he's one of the guys I think the Rockets should seriously consider for the #10 pick.

It isn't where he is now but where he ends up being as a player.

The for sure will not drop whatsoevers are going in the Top 5-6: Flagg (1), Harper (2), Edgecomb (3-4), Johnson (3-6)

The might drop a bit could drop into the back end of the lottery but probably wont: Bailey, Knueppel, Jakucionis, Maluach

The who knows it depends on the team picking could go as high as 5th or as low as 20th: Essengue, Bryant, Queen, CMB, Coward, Fears, Demin.

I'm just ready for a plug and play player and not another project wing which is what Essengue looks like to me.

Cam, Landale and #10 for Harrison Barnes and 2026 ATL Swap and 2027 ATL pick-Spurs can use the pick to grab KD

Cam, Landale and #10 for for Andrew Wiggins and #20 and 2027 pick swap (top 4 protected)...Miami moves up in a deep draft and picks up couple of assets.

I don’t think there will be a plug and player there at #10, especially with a coach that wouldn’t even play a no. 3 picks (albeit in a sh*t draft). I think we trade out of this draft.

I would love to trade up for Ace, especially if he drops, would cost less than trying to move up to 3. Wouldn't mind trading up a bit for Tre or Kon. At 10 would be more than happy to draft Egor or Jasparas. If we trade down, I'd take Noa if available.

Love the first trade. I don’t know what we do with Wiggins and not sure I’d want to tie up the cap space for 2 years at 30m.
