Keep Reed at all costs and make PHX add Grayson Allen to the deal @DaDakota

Phoenix can't add players into a trade because they're a 2nd apron team, unfortunately.

Does any team even want Jalen right now? As much as I hate to admit it having put so much effort into supporting him but we screwed up that one by letting him still be here past the deadline because he looked good. He comes across more like a player we have to attach stuff to in order to convince people to take him more than something of value right now.

Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard

We can have them all and be legendary...

    That's my reading.
    For Durant, that's nonsense.
For Booker, I am thinking about.

I feel like maybe some bad teams would take a flier on him to park salary cap space while they rebuild? But yeah the Suns don't look like a fit at first glance

I would struggle to get onboard with a Sengun for Booker deal. Sengun is a much better value on his current contract, much younger, and still has a chance to become at least as good as Book.

KD averaged 27pts on 19FGA shooting 52% & 43% 3pt% and people act like he'll be aged out next season

FVV averaged 14pts on 12FGA shooting 38% & 34.5 3pt%. The man literally cannot drive into the paint

It's a clear upgrade. We will survive without FVV. Run Amen / Reed at point and trade Jalen down the line for a pg if needed

Something to consider about FVV's low field goal percentage is that most of his shot attempts are three pointers--nearly 2 out of every 3 shots. The norm for a guard these days is that more like half of their shots are from 3P land. Obviously this pulls down his FG% quite a bit, but his true shooting percentage doesn't fare quite as badly because when he does cash in, he's usually getting 3 for it. That said, he did have a really down season even for TS%. But to me that looks more like the product of a bad slump at the beginning of the season than a permanent decline--after the New Year, he shot 36.7% from three, which is in line with his career averages.

I am not excited about adding a player over 35 but his skillset is perfect for our needs. I hope if they trade for him they send FVV + filler out for salary purposes. Moving Fred will force Ime to play Reed (our PG of the future).

    Step 1 - Decline FVV's option & renegotiate a new deal (2 years, $40M - TO on year 2)

Step 2 - Renounce Tate (sorry buddy)

    Step 3 - trade: PHX - HOU - BRK - BOS
PHX renounces a ton of cap holds to get under 2nd apron (works in FanSpo... lol... shrug emoji)

PHX: Green (HOU) + Claxton (BRK) + Cam W (HOU) + #26 (via BRK)

BRK: Brooks (HOU) into TPE + #10 (via HOU) + Nick Richards (PHX) + Jrue Holiday (BOS)

    BOS: #27 (via BRK) + 6 SRPs (3 from HOU & 3 from BRK)

HOU: KD (PHX) + Hauser (BOS) into NT-MLE + Ryan Dunn (PHX) also into NT-MLE + #19 (via BRK)

Step 4 - sign Ty Jerome (4 years, $80M) using cap space [beats most offers & offering him a starting spot] (TO on year 4)

    Step 5 - re-sign Steven Adams (2 years, $28M with TO on 2nd year)

    Step 6 - Ship

Step 7 - I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue (IYKYK)

    Roster
    FVV - R33D - A. Holiday
    Jerome - Hauser - Nate
    Amen - Tari - Dunn
KD - Bari - Uncle Jeff?
    Alpi - Adams - Sorber (#19)

Rox 94 = FVV - Jerome - Hauser - KD - Alpi (Alpi gets double-teamed [giggity] & passes to the open shooter or scores 1-v-1)

Run & Fun = R33D - Amen - Tari - Bari - Adams (Adams outlets rebounds; Bari blocks shots & hits trailing 3s; Amen, Reed, & Tari [ART] snatch passes out of the air for fast breaks with Bari available for swats if the gamble fails)

Time to turn on Burt Steele notifications. I trust him over any other source.

fvv's problem is not his regression at the three point line, it his inability to break down defenses with the drive and his slow pace of play. he's not a horrible player he is a bad fit on the Rockets and is best suited to be a backup pg.

I think this is pretty spot on. We’ll see what happens this offseason. I agree that the worst thing Stone can do is panic trade. But I think running back the same backcourt or not improving the shooting this offseason woukd be a huge disappointment.

Teams are stupid. You can move the Jalen's (and maybe Cam) because of "potential ".

To be honest KD's value is probably low. He's been relatively healthy recently but age, injury history and the fact he can be a pain in the ass to deal with are all factors. I'd do Jalen, Cam picks and whatever salary expiring we need to make it work. I think Giannis huts the team so I pass
