The Mariners got torched by the Nationals last night. Hopefully tonight they get beat again. So far Gore is shutting them out
Yes, not lost on me. However, you said King took a dive - not his ERA. You didn’t mention the ERA until your more positive and hopeful 2nd sentence. Hence, me pointing out that his era, while agreeing that it’s still good, did in fact double. doubling your era in 1\3 of an inning is impressive
Nationals up 2-0. Atleast we not losing to them. Mariners fans on reddit currently on suicide watch talking about the inevitable Astros
really sucks we have 3 more games vs this team. I feel like they are a awful matchup for us with all the stolen bases
Which is probably closer to who they are which is fine. Shake it off as one of those nights and go back out and act like it never occurred, We shall see.....
Sh!tty "prime time start" for this series. Should've played Th games just like T/W games... EARLIER, IN THE DAYTIME IF AT ALL POSSIBLE (esp against E opponents). Tired of seeing this team elevated to be marquee matchups / slotted in the early night - late evening matchups. Baseball's always been a game to play during the day. PLAY GAMES AT 4:30/6:00 CST. NOBODY WANTS TO BE UP AND/OR OUT ON TUES / WED / THURS NIGHTS. Still raining in Houston? WhyTF is the roof closed??
Bryan abreu had his meltdowns. It was inevitable for King. Soon it will be hader. Can't be crazy good forever.
I don't know about anyone else here but I feel very encouraged that Salazar had a scoreless 9th inning.
That was a laugher. Oh well, awful games are part of the sport. Astros will bounce back. The lineup pretty much ensured a loss.
all year long, the rays were DOO DOO against lefty. then one random thur night in may they went bonkers against one of the better if not the best 7th inning lefty reliever. is king hurt? was he tipping his pitches? i have no clue. it was surreal to see.
Third string catcher pitched better than Whitley. And others too, to be fair, but it's fun dumping on Forrest.
God inject the Mariners having a meltdown into my veins. I can't ever get enough of the Mariners getting their guts stomped out.
