He is a very good player. Very good players are not worth the super max.

 

Yeah but they tethered it to the All NBA team accolades......this is as fair as one can get......

But instead of a Super max contract, they could offer Super max bonuses that don't count against the cap........

The whole Supermax idea isn't an evil one but it does hamper the organization.

 

I thought that was pretty obvious from the start.

Brown & Tatum are not easily replaced.

Jrue and Porzingis can be replaced and probably for much less. They are solid, not great players.

The real question is what they have to pay to dump those salaries.

 

They ought to have gone thru the deep draft once again and drafted a third Option.

Dun think Tatum had a great season.....either way not a good way to end the season.

 

If I'm picking between Booker or Brown, I'm picking Booker.

Brown has already won, a lot of players after winning has no drive to win another title. Booker got close and failed so I would think he would have more of a thirst to win it all. Also, Booker is the better ball handler and fit on this team.

LOL. Wemby ahead of Haliburton or Brunson based on performance is ludicrous. Of course he’ll be better if he stays healthy and keeps developing, but there is no way he is the 6th best player in the league today.

 

Wemby was higher in epm and bpm, WAY above brunson and above hali. Usually people do player rankings with the idea of "who would i want for the next year".

 

Neither Jaylen Brown nor Jayson Tatum are on his list, tells you he doesn't like them that much........

 

Tatum is out for next season so he can't be on the list, brown never has and never will sniff the top 10, thats a different level.

 

Okay, I listened to it again, Tatum had an abysmal 1st, 2nd round last year, they won the Championship but Tatum was shooting horsedung....

Guess who won Finals MVP.....you guessed it, Jaylen Brown.

I understand that they have to cut salaries but dayum....

 

Finals mvp doesn't mean he actually deserved it, remember iggy won one of those. Sometimes the voters like to troll (smart DPOY, iggy FMVP, etc.)

 

Yeah but Tatum wasn't the sole reason they won it all either.......their team was stacked that year and no visible injuries other than Porzingis but who still played a few.

That wasn't even Prime Tatum who somehow subscribed to the Top 5 but never won me over with talent and a deep bag.
