I've been a duck hunter my whole life (just google my anas acuta) and I've been watching these guys since they were making grainy, low quality VHS tapes. They are slow talking, tobacco chewing, beard wearing small town folk from West Monroe, Louisiana.

I hate reality TV and they're total sell outs, leaving thier low key southern roots for the bright lights of reality TV.

I'm disappointed in what they've turned in to. They still promote southern family values and all that, but I never thought of all people, these guys, would be on a reality TV show.

Don't accuse me of claiming they're sellouts because of the $$$ situation. They've had money long before Duck Dynasty.

Don't care. Si and Jase are simply awesome on the television. What's with all of the plastic surgery though? Willie's wife no longer has the wrinkle's near her cheeks and her face is all stretched out, Miss K wearing makeup and the longer hair and even Jase's wife looks to have had surgery.

    The price of fame...they gone.

Thought that was a great season opener last night. The return of Mountain Man, debut of the normal brother, great Si moments, and Godwin being Godwin.

And, not that it matters, but back in the 90s (their first VHS tape was in 1988) I didn't know of anyone who watched them who didn't duck hunt.

I guess you'd have to be a duck hunter to understand it..........

Was that a fleshlight on his end table? Martin definitely takes the cake for creepiest Duck Dynasty cast member.

Had no idea that this show was still on television. I don't see there stuff all over Academy anymore so assuming it isn't popular?

Surprised this show is still on. I loved the early seasons, but things got a bit more manufactured after a while and I started tuning out. It was better when it felt more real.

Yeah, somewhere along the way this show became about as scripted as Home Improvement, possibly the most predictable show in television history. I can only watch so much of that, even if it is kind of funny.

So you're basically saying this reality tv show became like every other reality tv show and then people got bored with it and moved on to the next reality tv show/election?

    I am ****ing astounded.

    RIP racist and homophobe.

Without getting too D&D, the show was obviously a vehicle for the Robertson's spiritual message...and whatever happened to God loving everyone?

    Oh yeah...The South.
