The US Supreme Court gives Trump 2.0 the finger again

Supreme Court blocks Trump from restarting Alien Enemies Act deportations

The decision is a significant loss for Trump 2.0, who wants to use the law to speed deportations – and avoid the kind of review normally required before removing people from the country.

I pity you woke clowns in here with TDS. Your hate for Trump is the direct result of you dumb clowns being brainwashed by the lying media. You weak, feeble minded fools fell for it hook line and sinker.
    Trump 2028.

The grift of the century by a Presidency, and the biggest threat to National Security, with so much secrecy of money coming into his pocket. President Trump is corrupt to the core, and like always, is serving himself, above all else.

Trump meme coin dinner likely to include mostly non-Americans based on top $TRUMP holders

As the meme coin dinner with President Trump approaches, it appears as if most of the attendees will be people from other countries.

Many wallets for the top holders are tied to international exchanges like Binance that don’t service U.S. customers.

The nature of the anonymous wallets raises questions about the true identities and motivations of the token’s largest holders.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2025/05/18/tru...ostly-non-americans-based-on-top-holders.html

An analysis by Fortune has uncovered that 18 out of the top 25 holders of $TRUMP tokens have interacted with Binance, a crypto exchange that does not accept U.S. customers, suggesting that these individuals are likely foreign nationals.

While the identities of the winners remain largely anonymous, obscured by blockchain pseudonyms, some have been publicly identified or linked to companies through crypto analytics firms. Among the most prominent figures are Chinese crypto billionaire Justin Sun, the Singapore-based startup MemeCore, and Australian investor Kain Warwick.

I wouldn't doubt that he compensates more of the folks who were part of his right wing mob. Police officers should be really scared in the future about Trump defending right wing terrorism, far right extremists groups, and attacks on police by those who support him when he says stuff like this....

“They were patriots as far as I was concerned,” Mr. Trump said. “I talk about them a lot. They were treated very unfairly.”

There's Law and Order, and then there is Trump's version of it. He supports police he says, but it depends on who is attacking, beating, or threatening them. It's the same approach authoritarians and dictators take.

Honestly, I blame the DOJ for not imprisoning Trump, who gives a **** if his supporters didn't like it, he broke the law and should have been in prison.

I sincerely cant believe they're paying off January 6 terrorists for a insurrection they created. I sincerely wonder what historians will think of this time period in the future. Its just sad

Well, he loves anyone who supports him, no matter what they do, and that includes the Proud Boys, and all the right wing hate groups that stormed the Capitol and were beating police. This was in March, ....

Donald Trump said during a Newsmax interview:

Trump suggested that the January 6 rioters he pardoned could get compensation payments.

"A lot of people in government really like that group of people. They were patriots as far as I was concerned, I talk about them a lot. They were treated very unfairly, you know?"

    Disgusting

But remember there's no more for cancer research or money for scientific research at universities. There's no money for NOAA and we have to shut down numerous national hurricane locations.

We got money for domestic terrorists who stormed the capital. Its just sad sincerely

Not trying to derail the thread topic, but that really concerns me here in Houston. Hurricanes are unpredictable, deadly and destructive beasts. We've seen how rapidly they have intensified this past year, in a shorter than normal time frame. Times are changing. We need the best technology, all available resources put to use, and the expertise and staffing to give us the best updated forecasts and warnings possible.

How do you report on the weather when data is disappearing?

    May 19, 2025

“The U.S. has a system that is the best in the world, but we’re actively sabotaging it.”

According to a recent report in CNN, 30 of the 122 weather forecasting offices around the country — including the ones that cover major cities like New York, Houston, and Cleveland — currently lack chief meteorologists; a number of NWS offices around the country no longer provide 24/7 forecasting.

Houston lawmakers demand answers about National Weather Service vacancies ahead of hurricane season

    Houston, May 7, 2025

Three Houston-area members of Congress are asking why the National Weather Service's office in the region has nearly a dozen vacancies ahead of hurricane season.

On Monday, three House Democrats — Reps. Lizzie Fletcher, Sylvia Garcia and Al Green — sent a letter to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) asking why the National Weather Service’s Houston/Galveston office will soon lose its top three leadership staffers.

In the letter, the representatives called the vacancies a "staffing crisis" and said the station meteorologist in charge, the warning coordination meteorologist and the science and operations officer are expected to leave due to "significant staffing reductions directed by President (Donald) Trump and Elon Musk."

The Texas GOP has no balls to not even stand up to Trump, all they do is kneel. Where are our Republicans taking care of Texas? The whole state voted for you jagoffs...maybe we get something back?

Greg Abbott's too busy signing his own version of DOGE, with his primary focus on reducing regulations on Texas businesses. After all, gotta let those billionaires quit wasting time with safety inspections, containment of toxic waste, and stuff that cuts their profits. A chemical leak here and there, a few more toxins, a few more injuries, chemical leaks, and fires doesn't concern him. He probably thinks most it's a sacrifice Texans can give for our economy. He'd rather line his and their pockets and protect the big guys, and could care less about illness, disease, or other stuff people get from the toxins.

I had my assistant get my prescriptions for me from the pharmacy and they were not 30%-80% cheaper like Trump tweeted.

I told me assistant to show the pharmacist the tweet but alas she told me I could pick up my on prescriptions if I wanted to haggle with Walgreens.

Has anyone let Trump know that prescription drug prices haven't gone down 30%-80% "almost immediately" ?

There is no doubt that Biden did not want those around him harassed and mired in long investigations. Trump made it very clear that he was going for blood. What was also very clear was that Biden basically had no control over his loser son, who is a terrible person. Biden can love him, but he did not establish any real boundaries. Also - I heard a lot of people say that they understood why Biden was so forgiving and soft for his son - too bad, he ran for and was President. Being a President isn't an easy job and should require a lot of sacrifice. He should have been objective with his son and the treatment of him. Also - Biden knew damn well the pardons (while understandable) set a bad precedence for the future and would lead a pathway to hell.

Everything post 9-11 has been a **** hole, and it has only accelerated since Trump has entered the political lexicon. Obama famously said elections have consequences --- well we will be feeling the consequences for a long time.
