I do agree that the way they're calling the game favors the Thunder. Dort, Caruso, and the Thunder guards are frequently hand checking and slapping down on wrists. It's not why the Nuggets are losing though. Nuggets need to adapt and do the same on the defensive side.

 

They don't "hack every single play". OKC has length and if you throw the ball in traffic or put the ball in harms way, there will be a deflection.

imagine one team commits shooting fouls 20 times but only gets called for it 10 times which leads to 20 free throws for other team.

imagine the other team fouls 5 times but gets called it all 5 times, leading to 10 free throws for the other team.

The team who is leading the free throw disparity 20-10 is still the one getting screwed because they should be leading 40-10 in a fair game.
