It's not that this play-by-play guy has a Rangers bias for me. He's just really dull and like ten notches below Kalas. Then Blum has to dial it back for a wider audience and he's less interesting. These streaming broadcasts are annoying and low rent.
Props to Myers for his season thus far. In the past he probably didn’t get on ahead of the HR. He’s been a heck of a lot more selective at the plate. I’ve always rooted for the kid and sure hoped the 2021 injury wasn’t a career killer.
Blumm thought a long time before responding the Rangers guy complaining again about the Cam call. Finally “he [pitcher] got a call on the edge on the bottom, but not the call on the edge on the outside.” It was clear but not argumentative directly - Blumm is really smart for a guy who looks like a frat boy.
I honestly feel if the Astros would've ditched Dusty a year sooner (calling it a retirement party) and picked up Bochy in 2023 we'd be in a better position right now.
13th comeback win of the season - only MINN and DET have more. Framber is a horse - 4 of 5 starts with 7 IP Paredes is Bregman with fluent Spanish. First road HR of the season .
No hitter averted, shutout averted, comeback win, and a rangers player got hit in the balls. Today was a good day
this team need to figure out how to hit starting pitchers. good to see them hit the opponent's bullpen tho
