We need to trade Sengun while his value is at its highest

I’m not a believer in Sengun.

He had a terrible 4th quarter in game 7, maybe the worst ever. He can’t shoot, he can’t defend, you have to uniquely build around him and he isn’t good enough to justify that level of roster composition commitment.

He’s a 90s post up type of player.

We need to ship him out in a package for Giannis. Sengun, bucks choice of Jabari/Tari, cam, all phoenix picks.

Hold onto Jalen - he can mold into this league as a high talent wing.

    FVV/Reed
    Jalen
    Brooks
    Tari/Jabari
    Giannis

This is the way. Imagine reed and Jalen bombing next to Giannis…

Reed and Jalen can still be stars… Sengun has peaked and is a trade chip.

Sengun is NOT that guy - we’ll be stuck like chuck if we hitch to his wagon.

He’s just not a winning player to build around in modern NBA.

Jalen still has a chance and I believe most GMs rather have Jalen.

Sengun is a mid-range game away from being an all NBA-type player and he’s only 22. Have to strongly disagree with you.

Does anyone believe this mid range is ever coming?

Dude has refused to take jump shots and learn to shoot.

He’s limited and we’ve already seen his ceiling.

I agree. Really loved him but this past year I just didn’t see it. For a facilitator I see him always trying to go 1v3 and not passing. He can barely jump and can’t shoot

The double big lineup just shows we need a real big boy down there

Half my girlfriend’s family lives in Turkey and she loved him but even she is turning on him. She just say he looks like a big baby pouting the whole time

lol. There’s a list a mile long of NBA bigs that have developed their mid-range games early, middle, and even late into their careers. Come on man.

I would wonder why someone would question if Sengun will ever develop a midrange game while at the same time have the belief that Jalen will ever be capable of molding into an elite talent wing.

Makes more sense to be skeptical of both ever happening.

22-year-old star Center vastly improves his major weakness from last year (defense), helps carry his team to its first playoff berth in 5 years as the #2 seed, makes his first All-Star team, and is the only player to show up in every playoff game. Has the versatility to play center or PF in a double big lineup with similar success. When needed, can be the primary scorer or offensive facilitator. Strong rebounder. Shooting needs to improve.

Analysis: He’s peaked, he was better as a rookie when we won 20 games. He complains too much and I don’t like his face. Impossible for a 22-year old to improve anymore. We’ve seen his ceiling and need to trade him.

It really doesn’t. Jalen has flashed 30 ppg potential and that skill.

Sengun has never flashed the ability to shoot well

When did Jalen Green score 45 points on virtually no 3s? Guess Alpe did it.

Jalen was literally the worst mid range shooter in the entire league this past season, let’s wait till he actually doesn’t suck at it before saying he doesn’t.

Bam Adebayo made 79 threes this season. In his previous seven seasons he had 23 threes.

Al Horford started to shoot 3s in his ninth season when he was a 29 year old vet. He was also a very inconsistent FT shooter in his first 5 or 6 seasons.

That doesn't necessarily mean that Alperen will also become a stretch big but it's ridiculous to claim that he will never develop a shot.
