They can report whatever they want. I watched the games and I've watched Jalen's shots on replay. He's not being doubled. Most shots are funneling him into a defender down low (usually Draymond) and then he chokes. Every player gets funneled to a defender down low.

If you disagree, then watch Jalen's shots and point out when he's doubled. I did the whole first game, maybe be was doubled once.

Yes but no. You cant carry a bunch of scrubs but struggle to finish layups under the rim. They're were games he missed wide open dunks. Nobody stood out

This is my question…who is going to SHOOT the ball for-us ? We need SHOOTERS !! Specifically perimeter shooters. Also need a PG along with the SG. There are a couple of bargains from around pick 20 to 30. Walter Clayton Jr …
Someone is going to mine gold there.Johni Broome will be in that range if you want complimentary paint help. I like Kon as well. There are going to be some real value finds-from 18-30.

Did you see Broome's vertical at the combine? 24.5" !!!!

I don't think that there's any chance that he goes in the first. It wouldn't be a huge surprise if he went undrafted.

I saw that on Twitter and thought the jump was brutal enough, but then I saw Duolingo's official account completely massacre the poor guy :

He’s never been a good jumper but still must not be fully recovered …not been that bad. I know he can rebound and score with his back to the basket. I really was thinking of Clayton Jr in that 20-30 range…I think I even saw 17. I have seen Johni early 2nd or think I just saw him in a mock at 30 but no he’s not going to cut it with that. And he may not get drafted as you mentioned but I think he can play. Thought-so when he was at Morehead St. before coming to Auburn. My main point was other than Kon ( realistic get) there is some value from 20-30.

That’s not the definition of blitzing or hedging though dude. They were playing man defense in this video. Butler simply sagged off Amen in the short corner and Curry did the same on the wing. Teams have done this throughout the reg season. This is no different.

I don’t remember seeing Sengun doubled or blitzed in the playoffs. Hedging means a defensive player jumps out on a screen to stop the ball handler. Same thing with blitzing. This means both defenders coming off a screen to defend and trap the ball handler. I didn’t see Sengun coming off screens and the defense hedging or blitzing him in the playoffs. Most off his actions were one on one. Looney, Post, Draymond all played him one on one with defenders sagging or Green would play disruptor faking a double then getting back to defend lobs or cutters. But we can review the tape.

regardless what it is, multiple people are defending Sengun so you can't say he is being defended "1 on 1". 1 on 1 means only 1 guy is trying to stop him from scoring right? If Butler and Curry are sagging off their man to help Draymond guard him how is that 1 on 1? If I say to you "duel me 1 on 1" and then when you step on the court I have 2 other dudes hanging around the basket to defend you is that 1 on 1? That's you argument which makes zero sense.

Plus isn't Draymond the DPOY finalist? Y'all acting like being guarded by Draymond anybody should be able to score on him.

Draymond ate his lunch 1 on 1. Then I saw Julius Randle getting buckets on draymond last series..

Sengun stood out. He was our engine on offense and he almost won us that series with inconsistent help from his teammates. Fred and Amen were bad for the first few games. Jalen was nothing except one game. Just because Jalen played awful doesn't mean the rest of our team did. We had a zero at SG and almost beat GS.

Jalen was blocked on 3 points shots in single coverage. He couldn't get by Steph. Don't try to say every played down to his level.

Draymond was not why Sengun was ineffective. He has been struggling offensively all year long. I love Sengun, but he has to develop at the very least a reliable mid-range jumper and has to quit the faking when nobody is close to him. It is extremely frustrating to watch him pump fake when he is wide open. His FT shooting was pathetic as well. He better be in the lab this summer. Somehow, he lost confidence. I think it is more evidence that Ime does not know how to develop young players on the offensive side of the ball.

The double standard is wild. Jalen Green has a truthfully bad playoff series and suddenly he's the league’s favorite punchline, because, hey, Anthony Edwards had no trouble with the Warriors, right? But turn it on their guy and those same voices are bending over backwards to defend Alperen Sengun’s rough series. "Draymond’s defense," they say!

Except, as you point out, Julius Randle lit Draymond up like a firecracker show in a California forest.

The way people twist themselves into knots to protect Sengun with the excuses and selective amnesia is not just bias, it's something emotionally deeper.

Fouling aside, such as two hands on the back, and pushing, Draymond is a strong ass dude in the post. Draymond is not just some random, he is a first ballet HOFer due to his defense. ALP's main weapon in the post is his bully-ball. You cannot do that against Draymond and expect to be successful very often. Alp was frequently pushed off his spots outside of his range. Randle on the other hand may be the one player who plays more physical in the post and has the strength to back it. Not only that, but he is also a complete offensive player who can score from all three-levels. He has the Cam-syndrome at time, but you cannot deny he is a more complete offensive player than ALP, which makes it not surprising that he has success against Draymond. Alp is only 22 and has improved his offensive game every year, and I believe him when he says he will return to his former efficiency.

He could say that he is a higher jumper than a certain Nikola.

Looks like the vast majority of Rocket fans are ready to move on from Alperen -- it's sad, but true.
