Fred getting 160 for 4 years….that is 4mm per year lower than his current salary.

Rumors are that Milwaukee is higher on Green than Sengun. It could be that front office people around the league aren't as high on Sengun as some fans here. Or to could be a negotiation ploy.

There are probably three people in this world higher on Green than on Sengun. And they all post on this board (a fourth has been banned apparently). Everyone else, including Mil, is higher on Sengun.

Then where is this coming from in every article on a potential trade? Someone has some inside knowledge on Milwaukee. Maybe it’s a negotiation tactic. But it’s also clear the Rockets are ok with parting ways with him as well.

They should want and demand both. Jalen and Sengun both still have upside, the Bucks' roster is completely decimated, and they can't even tank because they don't control their own picks. They need actual players with high upside in a trade.

If they didn’t take any picks back, I would be tempted on this one. We could then probably swing a deal with any of FVV, Dillon, Tari, Cam, Reed and picks for a couple of semi-stars that would re-balance the roster. Amen, Giannis, Jabari and two more frontcourt players that can shoot. Maybe Adebayo and John Collins. Amen, Giannis, Jabari, Collins, Adebayo. Oh My! Or maybe Naz and Adebayo if we are dreaming. Amen, Giannis, Jabari, Naz, Adebayo. Oh my! Oh my! Ime would come himself over the defense and offensive rebounding and all 3 of your frontcourt players could shoot from 3.

Rockets gonna trade Giannis, give up half their youth, and be scrambling in 3 years to try to build around Amen and whoever when Giannis starts to decline and become a negative value

This will also force Spurs to draft Harper and run Harper / Castle / Wemby for the next decade

Don’t trade for him. It won’t be worth it

Yeah, I think so. I would at least think about it with four picks involved, and would probably do it with just three. Five is too much, makes it too hard to make moves/keep a good roster going later on.

I’m not giving more than 2 picks and Sengun, Dillon for Giannis. The Bucks are not in the driver’s seat if he wants out. If SA is really not interested in giving up the 2nd pick, we are just bidding against ourselves. It’s the same with all this giving FVV more than 20m a year. We might give him a small bonus for being such a good guy, but he is only worth 14.3m on the open market.

I think Milwaukee could get 2 picks + a couple good players from any team which has them to offer, extension promise or no, so I'm not sure that gets it done--at that point they probably just trade him to a destination he doesn't desire. Would love it if we could acquire him for that price though.

Sengun and Giannis would be a horrible front court. No spacing and two guys who need the fall who can't really shoot.

That's why posters aren't the wisest. Instant gratification.
Sabonis erasing his first 2 playoff appearances due to new to the stage. On his 3rd playoff appearance, 8 points/ 7rebs/4 assists/ 1 steal
    his 4th appearance at age 26: 16pts/11 rebs/5 assists, a cone on defense. Key...age 26.

This happens every year. The media is fed information from teams to push an agenda. Leaks don't happen very often regarding such specific data. Why would MIL say they prefer JG over ALP when Jalen's value is at an all time low; MIL loses leverage in the trade by saying this. Rather, This is a ploy to diminish ALP's perceived value to get more assets. Only would be true if, Fchwod or Steven_A are the Buck's GM.

There are new "reports" every day about Giannis, such as GSW being an option. I imagine this came for the Buck's to drive up the asking price as GS has nothing to offer. Can't play Kuminga is not the crown jewel of any trade package.

Every teams fans massively overvalues their own players because that's who they watch, so they get attached. It's pretty logical.
