Dallas and Philly are the most unhinged....but Embiid and Giannis packing the paint.....Morey wouldn't dare....surely who knows....

Similar to Jaku, Egor shooting started strong, but he injured his knee and was out a month. He went downhill from there.

I like both guys and believe they add playmaking depth and shooting to the team.

Egor's body of work doesn't impress me. He needs another year in college.

Good point, he probably should have gone 1st overall. He's the best player in that class.

Why do people discount Ace Bailey for not impacting winning (referencing Rutgers W-L record) but then completely gloss over that fact when talking about Dylan Harper? Harper still played 29 games for Rutgers so his injury shouldn't discount the fact that he couldn't lead his team to wins either.

I know Ace Bailey has a lot of divided opinions both here and on draft sites - but I just love his potential, especially as a no.1 scoring option - which the Rockets need the most. Reminds me so much of Tmac the way he can just rise up anywhere for his shot, his handles for his size, and just overall smoothness to his game. And because of that divided opinion on his draft stock, I think there's a real opportunity to trade up to that 3rd pick (and we all know Morey loves his late lotto - mid first round 6'8" tweeners).

Why not trade our 10th pick in this draft, + one of the unprotected PHX picks (either 27 or 29) and move up to 3rd for Ace Bailey? I know he may need at least a yr or two - but I think we aren't going to be legit contenders until Reed develops further and pans out as well.

So did Reed but we still got him. Honestly this is a pretty deep draft Im prob gonna be ok with whoever they take.

I wonder why Bailey fell from being a clear Number 2....red flags?

Morey will want all the Phoenix assets and Reed and Cam on top for 3rd pick. Just look up his asking price for Ben Simmons.

Plus Ace Bailey is the type of player who wont get burn with Udoka. Extremely talented but inconsistent chucker with bad defense, lol where have I seen that before?

    shades of Cam Reddish

Harper is a jumbo playmaker guys like that tend to pan out in the NBA (Cade, Haliburton, Dyson Daniels, Giddey, Amen, Ball bros etc)

I mean yea, he could end up being Cam Reddish.. but Cam really had zero motor. From everything I've heard and seen, motor and motivation isn't Ace Bailey's issue - it's his shot diet and efficiency, which can be fixable.

I mentioned Tmac - but also look at Paul George. Nothing from his college stats stand out and he was on a losing, mid major team but he had glimpses of crazy potential, especially for his size.

On Dylan Harper - yes some of the big combo guards you mentioned are great to have and definitely Harper seems to be on that track - but likewise with a floor comp that you mentioned with Ace, there are big combo guards who haven't done much once in the league also. I mean we're talking rookies so it's still always a crapshoot and nothing is 100% guaranteed. But I get you, Dylan Harper is definitely on another level and would love to have him on this team but obviously that won't be possible =\

Morey can eat a dick if that‘s the case lol.

But never hurts to try. And Philly needs as many draft assets as they can get to fix their shitty situation right now with Embiid and PG albatross contracts.

Also just wanted to add, the high price for Ben Simmons was because he was a known commodity with some validation (multiple All-star nods, All-NBA defense, 1st overall pick, etc). At the time, he wasn't what we know him to be now.

Ace Bailey (or the 3rd pick) is still relatively unknown with a lot of uncertainty tied into the value of that asset. So the asking price won't be that high - and can't be that high, especially if Morey does have any inclination of trading that pick.

I can’t believe Morey still has a job. He has absolutely destroyed the 76ers. They can’t even tear it down for the next 3 years, because no one will take PG and Embid will never stay on the court. The #3 is definitely for sale, but it will have to be a win-now move, because Morey won’t be in charge with future draft picks and he doesn’t like to draft anyway.

I think we had taken Jeremy Lamb with the 12th once......that is the only pick in the early double digits or lotto teens....I can think of

Do you have a guarantee of the owner that Morey will be gone?

Morey is the Overseer while Elton Brand does the grunt work...... I think that is why Morey took the President job .....job security.

Not sure if they can make any win-now moves given their team salary structure and having no flexibility (probably can't even retain Quentin Grimes lol). All they've done since Morey's been in charge is make win-now moves, and like you said, he's made a giant mess.

If Philly had any common sense, they should try to stock up on future draft assets with whatever assets may be attractive enough to garner draft assets - and those assets are basically Maxey or the 3rd pick... and they're not trading Maxey (probably).

One of them was efficient and helped the team in a variety of ways. One was an inefficient chucker.

Caveat: I didn't watch Rutgers much, but Bailey did not look like a lottery pick.

I’d be happy with either Carter Bryant, Rasheer Fleming or Cedric Coward

But Bryant is nice. his game reminds me of Jalen Johnson with a better shot, but less creation and ball handling
