He looks more athletic and will likely be a better outside shooter.

This is my least favorite. He moves like Clingan.

Demin looks like Reed Shepherd’s brother, but I am intrigued.

But I just see some overlap with Amen And the big point guard model.

A shooter might not be in the draft, but we can certainly trade for a rotation upgrade.

Yeah he's the big red flag guy for me. I genuinely think people just want him because the Wembys and Chets of the world exist. I don't think he looks like a unicorn at all, just a big stiff.

This is my top target and I'd even trade up a few spots to get him. Regarding his 3pt%, 70% of his threes came off the dribble. His shooting efficiency numbers look similar to Ant, Lillard and some other top guards in their season before going pro...Also, like you noted his FT% was very good and he also had a really high ft rate...he was really good at drawing fouls and converting...

Also, it's noteworthy that he was shooting over 40% from 3 before he had his forearm injury...

He's not super athletic vertically, but I think his foot speed + his length + his frame is more than enough to be a good defender.

I love how he sees the floor and some of the passes he's able to make. He's really crafty and understands angles well. To me he shows a lot of the same skills that many of the top lead ball handlers that are in the NBA today.

    I like Maluach too...

Really young...hasn't played for that long so lots of room to grow...

For being 7'2" he moves very well...He's not Wemby, but he's not Goebert either...he's very mobile though overall.

He didn't shoot a high volume of threes and only shot around 25% but he showed decent form and there's hope for growth there...IMO with some work he could easily be a 32ish percent 3pt shooter on 2-3 threes a game. That's enough to keep the defense honest. In college he was a 76% ft shooter, so it shows that he has some decent shooting ability.

Around the rim he is awesome...Really good hands, huge catch radius...good touch...Really good finisher around the rim.

And his defense has game changing potential.

I don't think he'll be available at 10 but wouldn't be upset with a slight move up to get him.

What y’all think about Coward? He’s moving up fast.

He reminds me of a player in between Jalen Williams and Nate Williams. 6’5, 7’2 wingspan, can pass, defend and is a 38% 3 point shooter

Big stiff? Dude scored 75% from the field, has a 7'2 height and 7'5 wingspan.

Even if he is a stiff once you reach a certain height you can still be very effective. Look at Luke Cornette in Boston.

Coward is really good, but the problem is we are picking 10 which is too high for him IMO. However whoever drafts him will get a quality player. Coward aced the shooting drills, he reminds me of buddy hield but with defense.

Maybe Rox can trade back and get Coward and Clayton Jr or something. OKC has like 4 picks in the first round.

he is much bigger than Buddy Hield, also he has a really nice mid range & back down post game like an old school 2 guard. Complete 3 level scorer with solid passing and handling

Was 12 too high for Jalen Williams? If we can get a quality player at 10 I’m all for it.

On my short list of possible pick at 10th. Young. Can develop in G-League while we find playing time for Reed and Cam.

In starting to like him more than Jakucionis. 6'9 with passing shooting and dribbling is crazy.

If #10 is too high for "Buddy Hield with defense," then this would be a pretty deep draft.

The shooting is legit .... Kasparas shot better than 50+/40+/88 for half the season before a left forearm injury, he missed a couple games and struggled with the injury the rest of the season & his shooting suffered as a result. Healthy he can shoot it from anywhere.
Despite the injury, he finished the season with a better shooting percentage (from the floor) than Edgecombe, Tre Johnson and Fears.
The guy who's shooting I question is Egor Demin, both these guys are fantastic passers and navigate the pick and roll like seasoned vets .... but Demin's shooting is bad - though he appears to have good mechanics / form.

Considering the guard play we suffered thru this past season & fact that this team lacks offensive creation / a star #1, I think Jakucionis is just the type of player Stone should be taking a shot on mid / late lottery.

Kon, Johnson, Edgecombe & Fears are likely gone anyway.

I like Rasheer Fleming & Collin Murray-Boyles a lot, but neither have superstar potential, they are "tari replacements" at the deepest position on the roster.

Now if Jakucionis is gone before 10 ....

This just isn't true. Hasheem Thabeet, Murasan, Zhou Qi. Height doesn't equate high level performance at all. I'd shoot 75% from the field at 7'2 in collegiate athletics, who the **** is guarding him? Edey moves WAY better, and he aint ****.

Fleming is more Naz Reid than he is Tari. He’d give us a nice small ball 5 that can shoot and be a lob threat

Draft night trade chatter: Keep tabs on the back half of the lottery

Since Monday's lottery drawing, most trade speculation has focused on the top three picks in the 2025 draft, held by Dallas, the San Antonio Spurs and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Would one of those teams trade a juicy pick for a star such as the Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo?

Those rumors have masked more likely trade scenarios, however. Chatter at the combine points to Houston (picking 10th), Portland (at No. 11) and San Antonio (picking again at 14th) as teams willing to shop picks in the back half of the lottery for win-now upgrades.

Houston, of course, just took the West's No. 2 seed and already has too many young promising players to fit into its rotation, meaning it might not be incentivized to add another.
