Hader is the opposite of Abreu when it comes to his performances after getting long rests… Joe’s usage of him last season, especially at the start of the season, was so dumb.
Joe is dumb , he can’t help being himself. that was a great series win. with what we have going on in the bullpen right now Espada can’t **** it up/ there’s no bad choices. Just needs to know when to bring the hook on the starter (he won’t, but whatever).

Were a game out of first and have a winning record and all people have done is b****. You would think the season has been an abject disaster with the defeatist talk around here.
That was the best win of the season. A first time starter on the ropes early in the game, just about got out of hand. Pitches deep enough to have to use only one bridge pitcher to get to the back end of the pen. Late clutch hitting (don't really need to comment on this). And then Hader time. Where it's getting pretty damn close to being automatic and expected at this point.
Get Yordan and Arrighetti back and it's very possible this team wins the division yet again. Now we absolutely need those 2 back. It still very much feels like this team is being held together by duct tape.
I think that undersells is a bit. If Arrighetti and Yordan both come back healthy and awesome (Yordan) and good (Arrighetti) I think this is the best team in the AL.
It’s one way to deal with a lousy manager. Take away all possible bad choices. I think we are there on the mound. Have some work to do on the offensive side of the ball.
TEAM wins… just as much as we hated hearing BOB’s “complementary football”…. the Stros are figuring out complementary baseball on all fronts.
Walker was hitting just fine in the 5-hole. Even had a good game in the 3-hole when Tuve had the hammy. The 4-hole is just cursed
I have this strange feeling that this team has the "Yordan will save us" mentality when they're struggling.
