Those losing their healthcare is my first inclination.

 

It's silly to think that this will lead to billions saved. Sure, you cut people from the program now, but now health issues will not be detected early enough, so we just get to see people end up in the emergency room racking up expensive treatment only because we didn't detect earlier. So ultimately it really is a tax on the middle class because we know those without insurance can't afford the crippling debt that comes with ER treatment, nor will the hospital simply write it off. Hooray for us middle class folks carrying the load of having to pay higher insurance premiums because the hospital's jacked up prices.

I have seen some gop pushback and I can't believe I am about to say this, but I will be shocked if this passes in its current form..............are they really going to screw over millions who depend on this Ins and this will hit red hard.......there really going to give the voters this screw over just to extend the tax cut that helps the Billionaires? They can ass kiss all they want, but they're going to lose in next election................plus didnt the orange man just tell us in his latest interview NOTHING will be done to Medicaid and Medicare? This bill in a project 2025 wet dream

 

No worries, Trump promised not to sign any bill with cuts to Medicaid.

On "Meet the Press" on May 4, Trump said he would veto the bill if it includes cuts to Medicaid while adding, "but they're not cutting it."

"They're looking at fraud, waste and abuse. And nobody minds that," he said. "If illegal immigrants are in the mix, if people that aren't supposed to be there, people that are non-citizens are in the mix, nobody minds that. Waste, fraud and abuse. But we're not cutting Medicaid, we're not cutting Medicare, and we're not cutting Social Security."

When asked if he could guarantee that Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security will not be touched while before a Cabinet meeting on Feb. 26, Trump said, "I have said it so many times, you shouldn't be asking me that question."

"We're not going to touch it. Now, we are going to look for fraud," he continued.

During a Feb. 18 interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, when, while referring to Medicaid and Medicare, Trump said, "None of that stuff is going to be touched."

"We're going to love and cherish Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid," Trump also said in the Oval Office on Jan. 31. "We're not going to do anything with that, other than if we can find some abuse or waste, we'll do something, but the people won't be affected. It will only be more effective and better."

Gov. Andy Beshear: My biggest concerns are the people who need health care coverage are going to lose it. Medicaid covers the people we love the most, our parents and our kids. Half of Kentucky's kids are covered by Medicaid, and 70% of our long-term care costs are covered by Medicaid.

And so when the analysis that is coming out about this bill shows that millions of people will lose their health care. One set of analysis set up to eight and a half million. That's almost double the entire population of my state. It means that kids will lose health care. It means that seniors will lose health care. And what that means is that families will struggle to make up those dollars and to make up that care.

Now, Medicaid is something that also drives and fuels rural health care. And if you remove coverage for millions of people, you remove significant revenue going into those hospital systems. So what we'll see are layoffs. We will see closures and we'll see folks that live in rural America having to drive hours just to see a doctor.

And then finally, the cuts to snap are just mean and cruel. You know, my faith teaches me that there should be enough food for everyone. The miracle of the fishes and the loaves is in every single book of the gospel. And in a country where we grow food for all of our people, a program like SNAP just makes sure that we don't have hungry kids, that we don't have hungry families, and that ultimately everybody has the basic food that they need to get healthy and to get into that workforce.

Out of curiosity what do you contribute to society? You're on the internet 24-7 crying about Republicans? I don't care about Trump but there's no way you have a legitimate job. You call white people devils and what not. You're probably getting government assistance.

 

There whole plan is to stick to the "its only waste and fraud" even though its MUCH more.....................I know shocking right, maga lies to us again. This admin grifts while their own folks in red states will be severely hurt by this............at some point the less fortunate folks of maga will wake up and realize they just got screwed but it will be to late

 

which is why when I hear maga folks say there GOD-fearing folks, they don't do what Jesus did by helping the downtrodden........................all these cuts just to give his billionaire friends tax breaks..............That not Godly, that's pure evil

Just want you to know that you voted for this, you voted to kick people off of Medicaid, you voted to harm people.

If you agree with these cuts, you are legitimately bad people.
